Chpt. 22

-Ericas p.o.v.--the next morning-

I slowly opened my eyes and looked to my left to see Jayda still sleeping. I turned over reaching down to the floor picking up the sheet that must have fallen last night. I wrapped it around myself and walked to my bathroom doing my business. I picked up my tooth brush, brushing my teeth then walked back into my room to see Jayda waking up. I smiled laying back down under the covers with her.

"Morning beautiful" I said going to kiss her but she stopped me.

"I have morning breath" she said and I shook my head.

"I don't care" I said pressing my lips to hers. She ran her hand through my hair and I pulled away.

"Last night was amazing" she said and I smiled while nodding as i agreed with her.

"Now, I'm going to go get us some breakfast" I said getting out of bed again and getting dressed in my pajamas that were spread all over the floor. I walked out of my room closing the door and going downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom.

"Hey, mom" I said smiling.

"Someone's in a good mood this morning and I nodded.

"You could say that" I said and she smiled at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You and Jayda have a good night?" She asked and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Did you hear us?" I asked and she slightly laughed.

"No" she said and I sighed in relief.

"But its kind of obvious what you guys did, you're glowing of happiness" she said and I smiled.

"You have no idea...last night was amazing" I said feeling comfortable to talk about it to my mom.

"I bet it was, did she enjoy herself?" She asked.

"I'm pretty sure" I said nodding as I grabbed some of the eggs and bacon my mom made.

"Well, I'll see ya later" I said walking back upstairs to my room. I set the plates on my bed and turned to Jayda who had her back to me as she got dressed. I walked over to her wrapping my arms around her waist. She gasped slightly then laughed.

"You scared me" she said and I smiled kissing her cheek.

"Sorry" I said and she turned around in my arms.

"I love you" she said.

"I never get tired of hearing that" I whispered.

"I love you too" I said and pecked her lips and we sat on my bed eating our breakfast.

-At school-

"So, you're, yourself again?" Lulu asked as we stood by my locker during lunch.

"Yea, I'm sorry about everything guys. Forgive me?" I asked and they all nodded and we gave a group hug.

"Yay" I said and smiled at them.

"Let's go to our secret meeting place because there's some things we have to go over" Lulu said to me as the other girls walked off to lunch.

"Okay, just let me just get my stuff" I said and we headed to to the lunch room over to my table. Jayda was still in line so I was going to wait and tell her I was going somewhere else.

"Come on, I want to get this over with" Lulu said tugging on my arm.

"Alright, alright I'm coming" I said walking off before Jayda came back to the table. I flung my bag over my shoulder and walked out of the lunch room with Lulu.
