Chpt. 34

-Jaydas p.o.v.-

I stood by Erica's bed side waiting for her to wake up.

"How bad is it?" Erica's mother asked standing up when the doctor came in the room.

"She's still stage 2" he said and I just looked at my mate.

"We're going to start treatment as soon as possible" he added and her mom nodded.

"Is she going to die?" I whisper as I slowly took her hand in mine.

"No, she's a fighter" her mom spoke quietly. I could hear her trying to convince herself that as well. I got up blinking quickly heading to the door.

"Where are you going?" Her mother asked. I shook my head.

"Can't" i paused taking a deep breath. "Its too hard, im sorry" i rushed out of the room and to the elevator hitting the button for the ground floor. When the doors opened i had tears streaming down my face. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as i ran from the hospital.

I turned left running towards the woods. Once i reached the woods i shifted and sprinted off. I ran till my lungs ached so bad i could hardly breathe and couldnt feel my legs. I collapsed on the forest floor breathing heavily; whines escaping as i cried. My heart was aching, it wouldnt stop. I closed my eyes hoping everything would stand still.

"Ecria?" I called out standing ina, what looked like, a blinding white room. I wasnt alone, someone was with me, but very far away in the distance.

"Erica?!" I called again and started walking forward till i was running to them. They turned and i saw ericas face. She looked torn; depressed and in pain.

"Why?" She whispered from the distance.

"What?" I stopped running, noticing i wasnt getting any closer to her.

"Why did you leave?" She whispered facing me.

"I needed you" she breathed out.

"Im still here! Im not leaving! I didnt leave you!" I started sprinting to her. The distance getting longer with every step.

"Erica" i breathed dropping to my knees.

"Please" i bowed my head in sadness.

"Please. I didnt leave" i whispered.

I snapped my head up seeing movement. Slowly the room started turning from a blinding white to black so dark you couldnt see anything. I quickly stood up the floor falling staring at the ground.

"You were suppose to save me" i saw feet appear in front of me. I slowly looked up seeing erica. I fell back, stunned at her apperance. She wore all black, she was skin and bones, dark circles under her eyes.

"E-Erica?" I breathed out.

"Look at me jayda, im nothing now. Nothing" she whispered.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO SAVE ME!" She shouted taking me aback. I stumbled away from her, losing my balance and falling to the ground. I stared up at her in horror.

"I'm-I'm sorry" i stuttered.

"Why? Why didnt you save me?" Slowly she faded away into dust. The whole room started to fade away. I got up and started running in the other direction. I wasnt moving and soon the ground beneath me faded to dust and i started falling into nothing.

My eyes snapped open as i jerked awake. My breathing was uneven as i looked around me. It was dusk, everything seemed to be asleep. I got up and started walking aimlessly still in my wolf form.

I stopped walking hearing something; feeling like i was being watched. I looked around myself feeling uneasy. I took off running and could hear whatever was falling me start to chase me. I could feel myself panic and took a sharp right running into a tree. I yelped in pain as i fell to the ground.

The thing walked slowly towards me. I looked up towards them. It was a girl, she was beautiful, she wore all black an electric green light surrounded her. Her hair was very long, and black. She was barefoot. She had beautiful unique markings all over her body that glew electric green. Her eyes even glew electric green.

She slowly walked too me, never taking her eyes from mine. She walked with such beauty and grace.

"You're in pain" she spoke, her voice like bells. My ears pressed to my head as i remembered why i was out here.

She stopped walking; still looking at me. She slowly raised her hand towards me. I wanted to run but i couldnt move.

"Show me your human form" is she insane? I dont have extra clothes.

"Show me!" She spoke in a stern powerful voice. Before i knew it i sat on the forest floor completely naked in human form.

She moved closer to me, kneeling down as she looked over my naked body. I gently pushed my hair behind my ear.

"Your heart hurts my dear, your mate; she is sick" she spoke quietly.

"Y-Yes" i whispered.

"I can take it away, i can help her" she said her voice entrancing.

"How?" I asked.

"But not without something in return" she spoke trancing her fingertips across my collarbones.

"Who are you?" I asked. She stared into my eyes.

"I am enchantress"
