Chpt. 28

-Erica's p.o.v.--in Ohio state-

I pulled up to my old friends house. I grabbed the laptop and got out. I walked up to the front door and knocked. The door opened and her mother stood there surprised.

"Erica what a surprise" she said.

"I'm here for Stephanie" I said my face and voice serious.

"Of course, she's upstairs" she said letting me in. I walked upstairs to her room and walked in.

"Erica?" She asked also surprised. I shut the door and gave her a hard look.

"You have some explaining to do" I said anger clear in my voice. She was always frightened by me, even more so when I was angry.

"Uh, about what?" She asked. I walked over to her bed and put the laptop down opening it.

"About this" I said through clenched teeth as I played the video. She watched the whole video and was laughing by the end. I just glared at her.

"What? You can be in my next one" she said.

"There better not be a next one" I growled.

"Gosh, what's gotten into you?" She asked. I closed the laptop picking it up.

"That girl you've been tormenting over the internet-"

"Who cares blah, blah, blah" she rolled her eyes making me enraged.

"Oh, you better start caring" I said.

"Why? Why do you even care?" She asked.

"Because you've been tormenting my mate!" I growled at her as my fangs came in and were showing. Her eyes widened quickly as she moved as far away from me as possible.

"Look, Erica I didn't know, I swear" she said her voice shaky.

"You shouldn't even be doing it! She's been through hell and she doesn't need bitches like you making it harder on her!" I snapped my voice rising.

"Wait up! Bitches like me? What the hell is that suppose to mean?" She asked getting mad.

"Meaning I'm giving you a warning. Leave her alone or the next target is you, I will come back here and believe me when I say you will be the one in the hospital and not her" I threatened.

"Hospital? What do you mean?" She asked.

"You don't know? Jayda attempted suicide because of you. Guess what the first thing she said to me when she woke from her coma" I said.

"I don't-I-I don't know" she stuttered rubbing her left arm.

"She began to cry, asking why she was still alive and begged and begged for us to let her die because she doesn't want to be alive anymore. Why? Because people like you, bullies don't know when enough is enough!" I said practically yelling at her.

"I didn't know she would actually do it" she mumbled suddenly ashamed.

"And you know what? I wasn't there for her because she didn't tell me what was going on! I was on a cheer camp. I was just starting to get her to trust me, to come to me,that wasn't easy! Then you! You messed it up! Do you know what it feels like to look at your mate who has so much pain that you can feel it but you can't do anything! Why her? Tell me why her!" I said a few tears slipping down my cheeks. She looked at me surprised because I never cry. I have never cried in front of her before.

"I don't know" she shrugged.

"Damnit Stephanie! You shouldn't do it! My mate doesn't want to be near me because she doesn't trust me! Why would you even think about doing something like that?" I asked.
