Chpt. 10

-Erica's p.o.v.--later that night-

I turned facing Jayda on her front porch. I smiled at her and she returned it. After she told me everything we watched movies and cuddled. I can honestly say we've become a lot closer. I leaned forward and she did too. Our lips pressed together as we kissed. Electric and tingles shot through my body making my wolf jump of joy wanting me to mark her right there. I pulled away before the temptation got any worse.

A minute later the door opened and her aunt stood there with a raised eyebrow. I leaned toward Jaydas ear.

"I didn't tell your aunt because I wasn't sure if you wanted her to know" I whispered really quietly.

"Its okay, I think she should know" Jayda said and I nodded pulling away.

"Mrs. Winters we would like to tell you something" I said.

"Okay" she said really slowly.

"Jaydas my mate" I said and her eyes grew big.

"What? That's great!" She said happily and called for her husband.

"Jayda found her mate" she said to her husband.

"She did?" He asked and Jayda nodded while smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Oh...oh!" He said when he realized that we're mates.

"That's great, I'm really happy for you two" he said and I looked at him.

"Thank you, I should get going though. My mom will get worried and will send Landon to get me" I said and he something seemed to click with him.

"You're the alpahs sister" he said and I nodded.

"Yup" I said and looked at Jayda.

"I'll see you tomorrow" I said and kissed her cheek before I walked down the porch steps and rushed home.

-at her house-

I walked through the front door and my dad stood there with his arms crossed over his chest while tapping his foot.

"Uh oh, what did I do?" I asked as I walked more into the living room. My brother was sat on the couch with his mate and our mom.

"You didn't tell us you found your mate Missy" my dad said.

"Crap" I mumbled.

"Listen-"

"Is your mate a girl?" He asked interrupting me. I swallowed back the lump that formed in my throat. I nodded knowing my voice wasn't going to work.

"That is unacceptable! Tomorrow you will reject her" my father said and my heart dropped.

"No! I refuse to do that! I accepted her already" I said arguing with him. He glared at me with disappointment.

"My daughter is not a lesbian" he said and that stung.

"Dad-"

"No, I am not your dad and you're not my daughter" he said and tears stung my eyes.

"What?" I asked and looked at my mom.

"Mom, say something to him" I begged.

"Nathan, I think you're overreacting about this. You should be happy she found her mate" my mother said softly.

"Her mate is a female not a male, which it should be" he said looking at her. I looked at my brother begging him with my eyes to do something.

"Dad, I think you need to cool off and we'll talk about this tomorrow" Landon said and my dad glared at him.

"If you do not reject her, you are not my daughter" he said glaring at me. I looked at him and everyone quickly as the tears stung my eyes. A few tears slipped as I ran to the stairs.

"I won't reject her because I love her, and if you can't accept that Nathan then you have never been my father" I said harshly. He didn't say anything but kept his back to me. Anger boiled inside me.

"I hate you! I will never forgive you! How dare you disown your daughter! I hate you! I will forever hate you!" I screamed at him and then ran up to my room slamming the door shut. I quickly locked it and fell on my bed crying into my pillow. After a good 20 minutes of crying I passed out from it with one thing on my mind.

How much I hate my father.
