-Erica's p.o.v.--in Montana state-

I pulled up to the hotel I was going to be staying at. I got out and checked in. I went to my room and put my bag down on the bed then laid down closing my eyes.

~

My eyes snapped open to my phone blaring music.

"Hello?" I asked my voice scratchy from sleeping.

"Where are you?" I heard my mother yell through the phone. I cringed at the sound and sighed.

"I'm not telling" I said sitting up.

"You better tell or I'll send your father after you" she demanded.

"Go ahead because he won't, remember I'm a disgrace to him for being a lesbian" I stated.

"Erica"

"Mom"

Silence.

"I'll come back, I just have something to do first" I said and she signed.

"Just be careful and come back soon" she said.

"I will, I have to do this before Jayda and I become sick from being away from each other too long" I said.

"Racing against the clock?"

"Exactly" I said and hung up.

-Jaydas p.o.v.-

I opened my eyes slowly to see Nathan.

"H-Hi sir" I stuttered out. He came over and sat down in the chair.

"Where did I go wrong with her?" He asked putting his head in his hands.

"What?" I asked.

"Erica, I didn't raise her to be a lesbian" he said offending me.

"I'm sorry sir but everyone has excepted Erica for who she is and you should too" I said and he just looked at me.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because she's still your daughter and you should love her no matter who she is" I said and he shook his head.

"You don't understand-"

"Yes, I do. You don't understand" I said.

"Understand what?" He asked.

"How you've made her feel towards you. Do you have any idea what it feels like to wonder why the people who brought us into the world, who are suppose to love us and accept us, don't" I said and he sighed. He shrugged, got up and walked out.

Man that was weird.

I grabbed the phone next to me and dialed Erica's number calling her.

"Hey" she said answering after the first ring. Wow.

"Hey...is it raining there?" I asked hearing water rushing.

"Uh no, I'm taking a shower" she said and I smiled to myself.

"Hot" I said like I say it everyday.

"Jayda!" She said making me laugh. Its been a long time since I've laughed.

"What? We havent-"

"I know!" She said and I could practically hear her blushing. I started laughing again.

"I love hearing you laugh" she said and now I was the one blushing.

"Stop that" I mumbled.

"Stop what? Complimenting you?" She asked.
