Chpt. 14

-Erica's p.o.v.--After work--9:45-

I drummed my thumbs on the steering wheel as I drove home. I stopped at a red light looking around the street. I looked down turning my radio on as I waited for the light to turn green. Once it turned green I pressed on the gas pedal.

I heard a screeching noise and before I could react a car crashed into mine. I screamed as my car flipped a few times and then landing on the wheels again. I heard another screeching noise as another car hit the front end of my car. I gasped as pure pain shot through my entire body.

Not soon after I felt a warm liquid on my stomach. I looked down to see a huge piece of metal from a different car sticking out of my lower chest. Blood gushed out of the wound soaking my clothes. I coughed and tasted blood as blood slowly dripped from my mouth. I gasped for air as I heard the sirens but then darkness over took me.

-Landon's p.o.v.--10:30-

I sat on the couch with my mate Eva. She giggled as I played with her hair. My dad was sat across from us channel surfing. Suddenly the phone rang and my mom reached to the coffee table answering it.

"Who would be calling at this hour?" Eva asked and I shrugged. My head snapped to my mother as the phone broke on the floor. She got up running over to the key rack.

"Whats going on?" I asked.

"Everyone get in the car" she ordered and we all rushed into the car. She quickly started it and sped off out of town. All the cars on the road started to pull over as an ambulance speed by with their sirens on. Instead of pulling over my mom hit the gas pedal harder speeding after the ambulance.

"What are you doing? You're suppose to pull over" I said but she ignored me. We followed the ambulance to the hospital and parked behind it. My mom got out quickly with all of us following.

"We lost her! She's losing too much blood!" A paramedic called out as they got out of the back. I gasped in horror as I saw my sister laying on the stretcher soaked in her own blood. A paramedic was onto of her pumping on her chest because she wasnt breathing. They had tubes and monitors attacked to her as they rushed her into the hospital. We quickly rushed in after them to see them take her through the double doors. Eva quickly turned to me crying into my shoulder as I hugged her. A few tears slipped down my face.

-12:00 am-

I stood at Jaydas door and knocked loudly. I whipped my face of the tears as lights turned on. The door opened revealing Mr. Winters.

"Alpha?" He asked and I nodded.

"What's going on?" I heard Jayda ask and her uncle moved out of the way to reveal me.

"Jayda I think you need to come with me" I said sniffing.

"Is everything okay?" She asked and I shook my head no.

"No, Erica got into a really bad car accident on her way home from work" I said trying to hold myself together. She gasped loudly now fully awake.

"Is she okay?" She asked and I looked down.

"It doesn't look good. Her heart keeps stopping from all the trama she's suffering from it they don't think she'll make it till to tomorrow" I explained as she started to silently cry.

"Can I see her?" She asked.

"I don't know, non of us have been able to see her all night. But I think you need to be there at the hospital" I said and she nodded putting on her shoes. We walked to my car and we drove to the hospital in silence.
