Nikami POV
"H-how… Did… Huh?" She simply stared at me, dropping down to the ground as she stared as the books fell out of her grasp as well. Filled in so much shock her legs couldn't move.
"That was just a mere guess, I think I got it right. I never thought the knowledge of tropes in its entirety could be useful, but they would need some angst somehow." I spoke out, once again not hesitating in my words, and as soon as I said that, I covered my mouth, hoping she didn't hear any of it.
"Sorry. Are you okay? Senpai?" I asked her with a look of concern when I looked down at her.
"I-I just… Ho-how did you… Am I tha-that easy to read…? I'm ju-just that pathetic? With a si-single guess…" Hot tears fell down her face, her head turned towards the floor, her glasses fogging up due to her heavy breathing and sobbing.
"You're looking down at yourself again… Stop doing that. You aren't pathetic, though the moment those words come out of your mouth, that is when you are really pathetic." I stood up, crouching down slowly and picked up some of the books that she fell.
"On how I know… Once again, just a guess. Because I understand how you feel. I'm… A future queen. I need to be perfect, the moment I show weakness is the moment I die. I understand the overwhelming sense of wanting to not disappoint people. The only difference here is… You run away. I don't. I face things head on, While you hide away and cover yourself… Senpai, you're an amazing mage. But you aren't a perfect one. You're shy, extremely closed off, you shiver the moment you see someone's eyes, you are far from perfect." I explained to her, placing the books in order at the side of the green haired girl.
"You are extremely flawed. And that's fine. You can still learn and slowly communicate better. Trust me. This is coming from a girl who rarely talks but I don't flinch at anyone approaching me." I placed my hand on her shoulder, her head turning towards me as the tears on her face continued. I couldn't see her eyes due to the fog of her glasses, but I knew she had a saddened expression.
"Do you… mean it…?" She asked, her voice breaking.
"I mean it." I quickly replied..
"Shi-shiromoru-san…-" She threw herself on me, crying on my shoulders as she did so.
"Ugh… Don't make my shoulders wet…" I grumbled, rolling my eyes as I slowly looked at the girl breaking down on my arms.
"You should try to calm down first."
After a few minutes of Kikyou crying on my shoulders as we sat on the ground, she got off me and cleared her throat.
"I-I'm sorry once again, Shiromoru-san… I-its ju-just… N-no one really has… Gue-guess that before…" She mumbled, tapping on her glasses and the fog faded from it. Presumably her using magic.
"I have a lot of knowledge about things, because of the ga-Oh, wait a moment, I have to go." I quickly stood up, patting dust off my lap and adjusted my glove.
"H-huh? O-oh… Ri-right… The school is about to close..." She continued to stare at me, then looking over at the window to see the colors of the sunset.
"Good bye then, I do not want to speak any further." I walked towards the door and waved.
"Wai-wait!"
"What is it?"
"Wi-will we… Se-see each other again?" She asked.
"Quite a big possibility, I will be frequenting in the library. If I do, we will no doubt meet." I turned back towards her, and before she could even reply I walked out of the infirmary.
"Why is it that I made her hug me…? I should have just pushed her off… What made me so warm I would give kindness to a stranger like her?" I asked myself, sighing.
"Warmth… Reminds me of that dumb cherry head."
Walking to the now empty halls and walking towards the first year women dorms.
As I was about to enter it, I saw a lot of girls looking worried, then heard the yelling.
"Come on! I just want to see her! I have been waiting here for an hour and a half now! I know she's there!" A familiar rough voice yelled out, then I heard banging.
"I-I'm so sorry Gakerumi-sama! But as I have been telling you, a boy can't enter a girls room without her permission! And I don't see any letters from her to let you in, so I'm afraid I cannot do that!" The poor girl on the desk cried out.
"Raijin…" I snarled, pushing through the girls and glared at the brown haired prince(ss).
The moment everyone felt my presence, their spine shivered at my words, and quickly made way for me to walk.
"Shit-...Heeeeyyyyy Nika! I have been waiting for you!" Raijin waved energetically, a nervous smile on her face.
"Are you causing trouble? Shu is going to give you a yell. But I'm going to give you hell." I rolled my eyes once more, grabbing her hand, and immediately bolting out of there without saying anything to the girls.
"W-wait huh?? Nika???"
"Miss?! Ah… Well, I guess that counts as permission... " The lady at the counter gave a sigh of relief.
As soon as I arrived at my dorm, I opened the door and with a whip of my hand, slammed the short haired female with her collar on the wall. Shutting the door along the way.
She gave a gulp, but glared back at me as she sweated.
"Wh-what the hell was that for-" Before she could even finish her sentence, I interrupted her with my left hand on her neck, slowly caressing the side of it as I glared.
"Shut up, what the actual fuck were you thinking, Raijin Gakerumi? Did you really think ranting at that girl was a good idea? You absolute moron, now all of the girls are going to spread gossip about how rude you were. And what will that do to your reputation? Prince Raijin forcefully making a female to let them inside her room. You will be seen as a pervert. You fool. You bastard of a brutish animal. Are you that thirsty for my attention? Is that it? You didn't even think to go to the infirmary to see if I was there?" I continued to glare at her, my insults spewing out like venom, getting closer to her face to prove my point. One of my hand was on her collar, holding it tight as my left was touching her neck.
"O-okay! So first off-" Her face was rose red, seeing me so close to her and even me touching her neck made her tingle all over.
"Heeey, you two, didn't I tell you to leave the angry sex in your room? Geez!~" Emica whined, chuckling at her joke as she winked towards us.
"E-eh?!!? A-angry what now?! But they are so young, and uhm, d-do they just do… That here… So much that you warn them each time?????" A voice of confusion coming from a short white haired girl rang to my ears.
"I didn't even notice you two were here." I let go of Raijin, glancing over at the two of the commoners with a small glare of embarrassment. Since I immediately slammed Raijin to the wall, I didn't have enough time to even notice someone was inside here.
"Yasachu-chan, that was a joke, they aren't even married yet, and there is no way Rai-sama would even have the guts to fuck Nika! Bahahaha!" Emica laughed at us as she pointed over. Snickering as she did so.
"Emi, I am going to fucking punch you-" Raijin faked a cough, now adjusting her collar and her cape then folded her hands.
"Oh noooo, the sweets are going to fall to the flooooorr~ How can you eat them now?~" Emica faked a cry.
"Nevermind. Carry on. But talk even more and I'm going to kick your ass!!" Raijin turned even more red and huffed.
I stared at Yasachu that is was eating on some macaroons, as soon as we made eye contact she looked away.
"I need to apologize to her…" I bit my lip and mumbled.
