Raijin POV

When we approached the doors of the school, I kept holding her hand as she still had my coat over her face. I chuckled loudly, about what happened earlier. We were basically flying by how fast Sensei was going!

"Wasn't that so damn cool?! I nearly fell off so many times, but damn, it felt like a rollercoaster! It's been so long since I've felt adrenaline like that from a ride!" I chuckled to myself, knowing that Nikami wouldn't really talk about it.

"You'll get more than adrenaline if you ride a certain someone." She bluntly said, not even hesitating.

"Hah?" I turned my head towards her, blinking my eyes as I started to compute what she said… And turned red.

"H-hey! What the hell is up with you and saying those stupid one liners?!" I grumbled, gritting my teeth as I lightly punched her side.

We heard an explosion behind us, and I whipped my head in that direction and made a sharp inhale as my mouth was open. While Nikami didn't even bother to turn, knowing what was happening and just sighed.

I saw Keshi sensei next to a burning bike, one of the guards got hit by a tire and had a full mark on his face to support it. Some of them started to pour water on the motorcycle. When I took a step forward in that direction to help them, Nikami held my hand and wouldn't let go.

I glanced over at her, staring at me with a blank look. However, when I felt her grip tighten again, I knew that she didn't want me to go.

I simply gave a grin towards her, twisting back to her side and placing my arm over her shoulders. I leaned forward to peek at her face when she was covered by my clothing, and gave a peace sign.

Damn, she's adorable.

"Where do ya wanna go?" I asked her.

"Probably tell someone that Shukona got kidnapped." She replied, walking along with me as she just stared in the distance.

"What about Keshi Sensei?" I asked her, glancing behind at the Amethyst haired teacher that was just giggling slowly at the burning bike.

"Do you think I trust her?" She replied with a question, continuing to stare at nothing.

"Well… After all the things she pulls I wouldn't really do too… But still! She's a teacher, y'know?" I tried to convince her, chuckling nervously.

And on cue, I heard rapid footsteps toward us, Keshi waving as she flashed a bright smile.

"Wasn't that fun?! Though it's broken now… But that's fine, I got great information!" She exclaimed towards us, adjusting her messy hair.

"I would say sorry, but I guess I'm just happy we weren't blasted by that?" I glanced over at her direction, my hands still wrapped around Nikami's neck, me leaning into her.

"Sensei, My best friend Shukona Amatarini got kidnapped. By that masked girl." Nikami blurted out without hesitation, her blurred green irises stared over at Keshi. The shadows on her eyes because of my coat over her made her stares much more intense. And with those words out of her mouth, Keshi's face went cold, her mouth widening.

"Wh-what?! Wait, why didn't you tell me this earlier?!" Keshi gasped, her body tilted backwards in surprise.

"It was dangerous saying something like that outside, the walls have ears." Nikami replied, now feeling uncomfortable with being this casual with her when talking about something serious, I pulled my arm away and placed it in my pockets.

"I-I'll go tell the teachers! I'm so sorry to hear that, I'm sure the others will act quickly. The student council president wanted you to go to the library, Shiromoru-san." Keshi turned around, nearly tripping with how fast she was going, but ran.
