I had downed about four glasses as time passed. I wasn't sure what he had done to make it taste so good but it was one of the best drinks I'd had.
At one point, the frat boy had left, leaving me in a daze. Oh no. My emotions were catching up to me. I couldn't be alone right now.
As I looked around, I saw that Kylie and Rose had disappeared as well as the entire group. As a matter of fact, the entire house seemed to have emptied, the world around me teetering on it's edge.
The entire weeks events came barreling at me. I wanted to be good enough. I didn't want to be the miserable Goody two shoes, that couldn't stand up for what she believed in.
I had several times I could have kicked some sense into Rose, yet I didn't. I was so soft. Why did I have to be this way?
I found my vision going fuzzy behind watery eyes. I began to see many colors through a hazy lens, exploding into violent purples and blues.
Oh fuck, what was I saying?
Something wasn't right here.
I felt myself floating, up into the sky, feeling like a light feather.
"Am I a cloud?" I asked, not quite sure why this ran through my mind.
"Be whatever you want to be." A soft voice said.
Then, in an instant, a more envious voice spoke into my ear.
"Look who's a pathetic slut now. Let us see how perfect you are after we're done."
What? What was happening?
I tried to speak my mind, but I couldn't for the life of me. I couldn't even move. I mumbled, blinking up at the blurry figure above me.
I didn't have any sense of what day it was or where I was any longer. My body fell numb, my mind a slave to whatever was being said or done to me.
I thought I felt a tear run down my cheek."It could have been me," the envious voice continued, "I tried giving him a fair chance. I was the right one for Hero. I knew how to give it up and have a good time."
I tried to wet my lips to speak but I couldn't. I was paralyzed.
"You had to get in my fucking way," the voice spat, "you had to get in everyone's damn way. You're going to wish you'd left-"
I was shocked to feel a sharp tugging, like a slight pinch. I breathed, unable to comprehend what this could mean.
Before I could hope to make sense of it all, a sharp voice rung through my ears.
"WHAT IN THE LIVING HELL ARE YOU-? GET OFF!"
There were a series of explosions sounding through the room. A few bangs sounded near my head and cracks could be hard amidst it all.
"GET THE FUCK OFF HER! OH MY GOD!" The same voice screeched, causing whatever I was on to dip down.
I heard a series of shuffling before I heard a set of voices arguing.
"Yes!" The voice above me screamed. "You need to get here! No! You need to get here now! She's not breathing oh my God!"
Someone's hands- or what I thought were hands- pressed harshly on my chest, then ran their hands down the length of my arms.
I felt another slight pinch before my vision went blank.
I tried to ask what that was but my mumbling was interrupted by whoever stood over me.
"Don't worry," they said in a wholesome tone, "I'm going to take care of you."
Before I knew it, things went black.
