(10) The More X The Better

Leorio's POV:
I haven't told them yet. Me and Kurapika are now dating. Now is the time to tell them.

"So, during the two years we were all separated, Kurapika and I have started dating!" I announced.

"congrats, i guess" Killua said.

I know Killua means it, he's just not in the mood to talk right now.

Everyone else congratulated me.

I texted Kurapika to come visit Gon.

"Alright, Pika is coming here." I said.

"yay..." Killua said in an unenthusiastic voice.

"Yay! I haven't seen him in so long!" Gon said. "What has he been doing in the last few years?"

"Ever since the Phantom Troupe has disbanded. he's been working at a Starbucks."

"wow... cool..." Killua said. "i-im just going to cry in the washroom..."

He walks out.

"Dang, I feel for him." I said. "He's had a stressful few years."

"Yeah, I've been staying at a hotel by myself most of the time, while big brother was in prison." Alluka said.

"Hopefully he'll be okay..." Gon added.

Killua's POV:
what the fuck is wrong with me? i don't want to be a killer anymore, but i just can't stop.

i was crying in a washroom stall. it felt so stupid. just like me.

i sharpened my nails, but then i heard someone enter the washroom.

"i just have to make it quick." i thought. "and silent."

i put my sharpened nails near my neck and....

"Killua?" The voice from outside calls me.

"what. the fuck. do you want from me?" i questioned aggressively.

"It's Kurapika!"

shit. why do people come at the worst times.

i unlock the stall.

he opens it...

Kurapika's POV:
It's been a while since I've seen Gon and Killua. I heard what they're feeling right now. Just gotta be cautious with Killua.

I entered the hospital, and I go to the washroom first.

I entered it, and I hear crying. I see the shoes. It was Killua's shoes from a while ago.

"Killua?" I call out.

"what. the fuck. do you want from me." I hear from the stall. It was definitely Killua.

So this is what Leorio meant with "he could snap and any time."

"It's Kurapika." I said.

He unlocks the stall and I start walking it.

I see Killua. All scratched up. And crying. His eyes were red and they were puffy.

I see his left hand with razor sharp nails.

"i-im sorry, i-i couldnt h-help it." He said.

I go up to him and hug him. He hugs me back.

Just thinking of it, I think I saved Killua there.

"How've you been in the past few years?" I said.

"not the g-greatest. im not explaining it anymore. its gonna make me wanna kill myself." Killua answered.

I put one arm around him and lead him back to Gon's hospital room, as he wasn't crying nearly as much. He showed me where it was.

"Look who I saw in the washroom." I said entering the room.

"Kurapika!" Gon screamed.

"Heyyyy!" Leorio said.

I kiss Leorio on the cheek and I hug Gon.

"I have to use the washroom now, be right back." I said.

Gon's POV:
I haven't seen Kurapika in a while, he looks similar to before, just with slightly longer hair, and he's about an inch taller than before.

However, I'm worried about Killua. He won't stop crying, and he always seems so mad.

"Killua, you okay?" I asked.

"no." He said while sobbing quietly. "i-i tried t-to k-kill m-m-myself... b-but k-kurapika stopped m-me.."

I see everyone's shocked faces. All the people, except for me, of course, went and hugged Killua.

"thanks guys... i don't know what i would do without all of you." He said.

I sit up. He stands up and we hug.

"i also couldn't leave you behind." he slightly chuckles.

"Promise you won't do that again?" I asked.

"only if you don't do it again."

"Okay, I won't."

We hug tighter.

"I love you, Gon." He whispers into my ear.

"I love you, too, Killua." I whisper back.

We're in love...

"Hopefully no one heard that." He whispers.

"Hopefully not, I'm not ready to come out to them yet." I whisper back.

We stop hugging, then Kurapika re-enters the room.

"How's the last two been treating you, Kurapika?" I asked him.

"It's been fine, especially now I'm dating Leorio."

"Yeah, you two are a good match. I can't believe it all started with 'tAkE tHaT bAcK, lEoRiO!!'" I said in a mockingly fashion.

We all start laughing, including Killua, who's cheered up now.

"It's Mr. Lerorio!" Leorio added.

"Nope, it's now Oreo to me!" Kurapika joked.

Everyone in the room started laughing, even if they didn't get the reference.

Killua fed me dinner too, maybe the food tasted better because of it, even though it was normal hospital food.

It was a good ending to a rather stressful day.
