Killua's POV:
I wanted to die seeing my best friend die in front of me. It was so hard to watch. I was crying like crazy.
We finally arrived at the hospital and they immediately rushed Gon into a room.
"Hold on, I recognize the doctor." I thought to myself.
"Killua!" It was Leorio!
So as always I'm gonna put a fake smile and hide my feelings because I don't wanna ruin this moment with my idiotic feelings.
"Heyyyyy!" I answered
"What're you doin' here?" He asked me.
"Gon is here..." I answered, then frowned.
"Oh-"
"Yeah, he tried to kill himself."
"Wow."
"Anyways, how've you been these past two years?"
"Fine, until today happened."
"Tell me more."
"No, I don't want to." I start to tear up. "I'll just start being depressed again."
"I gotta get back to work now, see ya soon, Killua!"
"Alright, see ya."
I go back to the waiting room. I can't get what happened earlier off of my mind. I shouldn't have reacted like that. I start crying, like waterfalls coming out. Mito noticed.
"Killua, are you okay?" Mito was worried.
"N-n-no, i-it's my f-fault Gon i-is l-like this." I said while my voice was cracking.
"No, it wasn-"
"YES, IT WAS. I'M THE SON OF A BITCH HERE. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DON'T THINK IT'S MY FUCKING FAULT."
"Killua, I-"
Both of us. Just crying our eyes out. I'm such a bad kid, I made two people cry in the same day.
"M-Mito, I'm s-so s-sorry, I d-didn't m-mean to swear at y-you." I felt so bad.
"Killua, I know you didn't mean it. I know you let your emotions get in your head, and I was the unfortunate one to get vented on, but know this. I know Gon cares about you, but I think Ging had something to do about this."
"G-Ging?" I look up.
"H-he's homophobic."
God, this is why he reacted like that. Ging probably told him that being gay is bad. Why does he still listen to him, he's a bad father figure.
Mito's POV:
After Killua took it out on me, I know what he feels after all this time. He likes Gon, and I'm certain that Gon likes him back, but ever since Gon came back, he's acted different. Not as happy, not as enthusiastic, he seemed more tired. He didn't want to disappoint his dad, so he decided he had no feelings for gay people.
This is why I didn't want him to meet Ging.
Killua's POV:
The doctor appeared around the corner.
"You must be Killua, Gon's been slightly talking about you when he woke up."
Great. At least Gon's still alive.
"Thanks for telling me."
"Also, go call Gon's aunt, I have to tell both of you something."
I go get Mito.
