"Here." Taehyung said as he came back with a few of the suitcases and placed them on the bedroom floor.

"Thanks." Jennie replied as she grabbed one and opened it by placing it on the bed.

They started unpacking the bags as they put each things in sections to go in cupboards and whatnot.

"So....how have you been?" Taehyung asked, finally breaking the silence they shared.

It had been years since he last saw her.

Now she was certainly different looking.

Of course she was beautiful back then, but now that she was older she had this certain class to her, and she just seemed more enticing because of her dual personality.

"Well I've been good.  It was definitely hard to fit in New Zealand at first, but it was good after a while and I had some fun experiences. Now I'm back in Korea, so I have to see how that goes.  What about you?" She asked as she unpacked a suitcase full of law books as she organised them in her shelves by order.

"I've been good. Jimin stuck around and I usually spend time with him.  And well, I'm here now doing law at SNU, which coincidentally enough you are too.  My sister did business and marketing and she already has a job in that.  So yeah.. life's been pretty normal for me." He replied as he found a box of jewellery which Jennie instructed to leave on the desk so she could organise it herself.

"So.. wouldn't your girlfriend mind me staying here?" She asked him.

"I don't have one though?" He questioned confused on how she thought he was in a relationship.

"Really? I thought that girl at the party last night was your girlfriend because you two seemed... intimate to say the least." She replied as she couldn't contain a chuckle at the end of her sentence due to the ridiculous scene she witnessed.

"Ahh.. she's just someone who likes me. I haven't had an actual girlfriend in a while, much to my parents distaste." He replied as he scrunched up his nose.

The girl Jennie was referring to was endlessly clinging on his arm and doing aegyo last night to the point he had to leave to get rid of her.

"Well I thought you would have.  Time did you well, you're hotter now to say the least." she replied non-chalantly as she walked into the kitchen to place a few things as Taehyung's cheeks flushed red.

"Aish how can she be so forward." He muttered under his breath and fanned himself to calm down.

Soon after Jennie walked back into the bedroom to finish unpacking.

"My parents did say the guy I would be staying with was good looking, but I definitely did not think it was you." She said as she chuckled at their unexpected twist.

"Yeah I thought it was a guy, the biggest shock is for me." he replied as he plopped onto the bed tired.

"This is ridiculous though, how we ended up in the same major and the same college, in the same year after you left. It's really weird, almost like...." Jennie started as she was about to say something along the lines of déjà vu, but stopped because of the interruption.

"Destiny?" Taehyung cockily said raising an eyebrow as she just gaped at this boy's self confidence, smacking him on his arm.

"I swear if you do cheesy shit like this again I'll beat your ass." she said raising a fist as he only laughed falling on the bed further.

Jennie's hand went down as a smile took over her face.

"Cute." she thought looking at him but shook her head as soon as the thought entered her head.

Soon the doorbell rang as the pair looked at each other confused on who it may be, as Taehyung went to open the door.

"Eomma?" He asked confused on why his mother was here at the moment.

"Ah Taehyung, is your roommate here yet?" She asked him as she stepped in followed by a staff member, who was carrying a few boxes.

She abruptly pushed the boy with a bigger build than her out of the way as she physically went on a hunt.

"Taehyung? Who is it?" Jennie's voice called out as she stepped out wiping her sweat with a tissue dressed in casual clothes such as a T shirt and sweatpants since she changed earlier.

"Oh Jennie isn't it?" His mom asked as Jennie's eyes widened.

"Yes ma'am?" She said unsure of what to address her.

Looking Taehyung's way she mouthed 'who is she?' To him as she was unsure of the female's identity, as he mouthed back that she was his mom.

"Ahh Mrs.Kim, it's nice to finally meet you." Jennie greeted as she bowed to her.

"Yah, don't use formalities just call me imo(aunt), you'll be here a while anyways." she said as Jennie complied to her request.

"Okay imo, please have a seat I'll bring you some tea." she said and left to the kitchen as Taehyung's mom smiled and did so.

"I hope at least she can help you learn how to cook so you don't always eat junk food." she said pointedly to Taehyung who just spoke back.

"Mom! You're making me live with a girl?! Aren't you worried if I'll do something or if something happens?" He said pointedly to his mom who only shrugged.

"Are you serious? You act like you hate women to the point I thought you were gay, with that friend of yours Jimin.

"I was even okay accepting it until you told me you were straight. It's not like you CAN do something" she said, emphasising the word 'can'.

"Mom..." Taehyung sighed exasperatedly as she took no notice of it and continued.

"Secondly, if something happens I'd be glad so that you would finally get out of your endless single state.  Plus she is smart and had the best scores in her university. So yeah, this was for the best" she concluded and before Taehyung could argue back he had stopped as he saw Jennie returning.

"Here, I made some Chamomile tea since it must've been a long journey." Jennie said as she handed her one of the cups from the trays before settling down in one of the single seater arm chairs with a cup of her own as the latter began chatting.

Taehyung didn't know what to do or what to talk about with the two women as they were quick and had topic changes almost every second, so he just sat there quietly sipping on the tea casually.

"It seems they get along great." he muttered to himself as he sat there being salty sipping on his jasmine tea, being careful not to spill it either.
