Jennie's eyes were on his, as he stared at her from his seat.

"Taehyung." She called out, breathless, as his gaze on her affected her so bad that she couldn't think straight.

Immediately his hand went to hold hers, as her eyes shot down to see him lifting it into his own larger one.

He pulled her as so that he could fully turn and face her, his hand rubbing a soothing pattern on her own.

"W-what?" Jennie started, wanting to ask what he was doing, where he was going with this. But the entire problem was that he had somehow managed to steal every one of her last words, rendering her speechless.

His free hand went to cup her cheek, tilting it upwards to position it against his own.

He was so close. So deathly close.

As he started leaning in, Jennie could do nothing but stare, even more so when his eyes turned up to lock on hers.

"Can I?" He asked, making a shiver go down her spine.

Taehyung tightened his hold on her hand, interlacjng his fingers with hers and giving a gentle squeeze.

She barely managed a nod before his lips met hers.

Immediately her eyes fell shut as she let out a gasp at the foreign feeling, letting him take the lead.

After the initial shock, Jennie let herself immerse in the moment, enjoy the feeling. Her free hand slowly reached up to go around his neck, moving her lips in sync with his own, getting lost in the moment of it all.

He tasted like chocolate. Probably because of the Hersheys he was snacking on earlier, but it made him all the more sweeter.

Leaning back, her back made contact with the couch as he towered over her, hovering over her as he broke the kiss momentarily.

He gazed into her eyes as his other hand came to tuck the stray strands away from my face.

"You're so beautiful." he muttered as Jennie could physically feel her face light up at his words.

She knew she was pretty, sure. Jennie never needed another's validation for her looks.

But hearing him call her beautiful made her feel like the prettiest thing to ever grace the planet, the profoundness of it striking her instantly.

"You know, not all of us remained the same as we were." Jennie commented.

She didn't actively think about to, but in a part of her mind the thought that what they were doing now was a result of lingering attachment from years ago floated around.

It felt like the proper thing to do to make it clear that she wasn't the same teenager from years ago.

For her, it seemed like a way to clarify how he had truly felt of her now, or what this entire debacle was even going to lead to.

"I know, but you still intrigue me the way you used to. I always think about you, now more than ever. I don't know how I've survived in the same house all these days without getting my hands on you." he admitted as his eyes could only convey what she deciphered as sincerity.

"Kiss me again." Jennie breathed out as he followed, immediately meeting her lips once again, pushing her back to the couch.

She didn't know what effect he had on her, but it felt magical as she couldn't help herself when it came to him.

She became weak, physically and mentally, only for him.

His mouth slowly trailed down from her lips to her jawline, as she could feel the feather like kisses grazing over her skin, burning a hole every place they touched.

She could feel him coming back up, as he kissed the side of her neck, and almost naturally Jennie tilted her head to give him better access, a small moan slipping her lips as she felt him lightly hollow out his lips on the spot, creating a heavenly pressure.

Jennie immediately closed her mouth shut in embarrassment as he only came back to stare at her and even chuckled while she couldn't meet his eyes.

Slowly reaching down, he smiled down at her and shifted her face so that her gaze was now on him.

"You're even prettier when you become a mess in front of me." he whispered before kissing her again.

He just couldn't get enough of her.

Jennie didn't know what suddenly and inexplicably shifted in them on this particular night.

Why it was this night that they chose to finally act on what they felt, or be unable to separate from one another.

But she didn't care, not in the slightest. She wanted this moment to last forever.

He finally stopped kissing her as he softly gazed at her as her eyes slowly opened to meet his.

"How about... we try this thing out for real?" He asked while he stroked her cheek with his thumb, a glint in his eyes.

"You mean... dating?" Jennie asked him, needing the clarification as if her mind simply shut down at his words.

"Yeah, dating. You know, girlfriend and bo-" he started as she felt the urge to roll her eyes at him breaking what little of a moment they had.

"I know what dating is you prick." She added as he chuckled.

"Still the same. But yeah, let's date. I really like you. Don't you?" He asked her as he seemed to have suddenly gotten a little more nervous.

Jennie smiled up at him.

She liked this side of him too. She liked every side of him.

"I really like you too." Jennie finally answered, as she tracked his eyes trail to hers again after he shied away at his earlier words.

"You.. do? So are we, you know, dating now." he asked as Jennie smiled, nodding at him while he smiled wider, showing off his boxy smile.

"That's... good." he said, not knowing what more to add as she nodded.

"It is.. good." Jennie retorted, not wanting to break their little bubble.

"I'm going to kiss you again. Is that okay?" He asked as Jennie only chuckled softly at his behaviour.

"We're dating now. You don't need to ask me anymore if you want to kiss me. It's okay." Jennie smiled as he kissed her once again.

But this time, he kissed her as her boyfriend, and she kissed him back as his girlfriend.
