Taehyung's grin lit up as he expertly parked his car at the agreed-upon café where he and Jennie were to meet. It was a Saturday, and with finals looming, they decided to savor a date night before diving into the whirlwind of academia.

His smile grew even wider when he saw her figure standing there, wearing jeans and a white and black shirt that hugged her waist perfectly.

Her hair was flowing in the wind as her black hand bag was hanging from her arm, and she seemed to be admiring the view.

He exited the car as he made his way over and approached her, his greeting momentarily catching her off guard.

"Hey." he breathed out once he saw her and she smiled at him.

"Hey" she responded, tucking a loose strand of her own hair behind her ears.

Concerned by his intense gaze, she asked, "Is there something on my face?" A question that made him snap out of his admiration.

"Uh no. You just looked...pretty." he said as Jennie's cheeks turned pink.

"Thank you." she said shyly as he also flushed in embarrassment of getting caught.

"Let's go inside?" He suggested motioning to the café as she shook her head.

He quizzically raised an eyebrow till she pointed at the outdoor seating.

"The weather is really nice." she added to emphasise as he nodded.

"Okay, let's sit outside then." he agreed as she nodded this time, and after a moment turned to walk forward knowing he would be following.

They reached one of the small two seater tables, as Jennie sat down on one, and Taehyung on the other free ones.

"What do you want to get?" She asked as she skimmed the menu and he looked up.

"Well, since it's only 4 and we have the whole night, I say we just get a small drink now and head out. What do you say?" He suggested as she smiled, agreeing.

"Okay. I'm going to get a latte, will you take the same?" Jennie asked as he scratched his nape.

"Uh sure?" He answered more like a question confusing her but she chose not to ask about it as she ordered two drinks of coffee.

Amidst the slightly awkward moments, Taehyung summoned the courage to reach for her hand. A blush adorned Jennie's face as she interlocked their fingers, embracing the new intimacy.

"This is new." she mumbled loud enough to hear it, which he did.

"Yeah. A good new though right?" He asked as she slightly nodded against his arm.

"Mhm."

"Your hands are so small compared to mine." he commented as he noticed her tiny hands against his.

"Shut up." she huffed as he just laughed at her being all shy when teased.

"You have definitely become more expressive." he observed as she simply sighed.

"I guess so."

As their conversation flowed, coffee arrived on a tray. It became apparent that Taehyung hadn't touched his drink, and that's when Jennie, with a burst of laughter, remembered his aversion to coffee.

He hates coffee.

"Why didn't you tell me?" she teased, to which he shrugged, confessing he thought she'd be happier if he had the coffee.

"It's literally a drink, you could've ordered something else." she said as he only passed it off.

"It's fine. Should we move on?" he asked once he saw that her own cup was over and he held their interlocked hand up, as she nodded and got up, placing the bill on the tray under the provided paper weight as they both walked.

"Did you bring your car?" She asked noticing it as he nodded.

"We can't walk all the time you know." he said as she agreed with him and she got inside the passenger seat of the car, with him getting in the drivers side as he interlocked their hands again while they were on the road.

"Where are we going?" Jennie asked as he smiled.

"You'll see when we get there." he replied as he drove again once the lights turned green, and the car only came to a stop again once they reached the destination he wanted to take her too.

"Oh, it's han river." she said once she realised where they were at, and he nodded.

"You said you wanted to come here a lot of times back then, and I figured you must not have had the time to come so far, so here we are." He explained, causing a wide smile to erupt across her face.

"Thank you. Let's go now?" She suggested as they got out the car and he walked side by side admiring the view of the lake.

"It's so pretty." she said motioning to the crippling reflection of the sights in the waters, as Taehyung took out his phone to take a picture of it.

As he brought it down to look at it, his eyes landed on the brunette as she looked at the scenery with the sunset casting upon her, and he couldn't resist taking a picture of her with his own phone, and when he took a look at it his smile grew.

"Beautiful." he mumbled as he admired it.

"What?" Jennie asked as he immediately put it away.

"Nothing." he brushed off, taking a hold of her hand as again he pulled her to continue walking with him.

"Do you also like the Han river?" Jennie asked take him as she turned to face him.

"Hm, yeah, I do, but I never really came here much. Ironically only twice, there was never really someone to go here with." he answered as he also faced her with a smile.

"Well now you have me." She said while pausing and smiling at him, while he nodded taking a step closer to meet her.

"I do, now I have you. And I won't let you go again." he said as he kissed her, right then and there under the light of the sunset.
