After Jungkook had finally calmed down, the three of them had finally gotten to work to resolve their hunch.

"It's a gang occurrence, I'm sure of it. The guy who attacked me and the guy who is our defendant both have the same exact tattoo, which looked very similar to a gang tattoo" Jennie started as she put out the different pictures of the tattoos she sneakily had pictures of.

"Really? Oh god" Sana replied as she looked at the pictures, carefully making sure she didn't smudge any.

"Yeah, I have to be on rest from the case for two weeks, so thank god I got the trial pushed back when I reported it to the higher prosecutor.

But since it's a sensitive case, we can't really switch people mid way, it would mess it up.

So technically, we're the ones who have to solve it.

And about your finals, don't worry I emailed your professors as well while you were asleep, and they let you off the hook saying you don't need to write them this time, if we can solve it. Sounds good?" Jennie asked as the two of them nodded. (This doesn't actually happen in real life, it's just for the story line).

"Okay, I need you guys to do something for me. Since the degree has changed, I have both of the assailants houses, here.

Tomorrow, make sure you have authorities with you because I can't have something happening to you.

Either way, tomorrow, you go, and investigate thoroughly. And I mean thoroughly. Got it?" Jennie instructed as they both nodded again, showing her they understood.

"All right, that's good then. For the rest of today, well a few more hours at least, it's typing time.

We have to do the paper work for every thing that happened and we found.

So time to get a head ache. Yay" she said ending with a sarcastic tone as Sana laughed at her being grumpy.

"It's totally the anaesthetics. They're making me high" she said rolling her eyes making Sana laugh more, but a know cal on the door interrupted them.

Immediately, Sana and Jungkook stiffened and positioned themselves to lunge at anything as Jennie only rolled her eyes at them.

"Come in" she chorused as she went through a few of the papers, but a smile broke out on her face once she saw who it was.

"Eomoni!(mother), abeoji(father)" she said with a grin as the the pair of youngsters turned to her confused.

"Aish Jennie, you almost gave us a heart attack." Mrs.Min said walking in as she sat beside her.

"Eomoni? Abeoji?" Jungkook whispered confused as he didn't them, and those were clearly not her parents.

"They're not my legal parents, it's just a thing. Don't worry about it" Jennie explained to them as they nodded slowly.

"Yah we're here too! Don't forget about us" Namjoon said as he walked in followed by Hobi, Suga and Jin.

"Yeah yeah whatever you're not relevant" she said rolling her eyes playfully at them.

"Aish you stubborn kid, you're working here too?" Mr.Min asked as she sheepishly smiled in response, as she got hit on the head by Suga.

"You'll never learn" he said as she scoffed at him.

"Oh you shut up, you're not any more useful." She said while he tsked at her.

"You two, why don't you go take a break. Here's some cash, get something to eat. Don't skimp the money out on clothes or other shit I'm warning you, go eat" she said handing her card to them as they happily nodded and waved goodbye, giving them some privacy.

"Who are they?" Hobi asked after the two of them left as Jennie began to close and collect her papers to divert her attention fully to her visitors.

"Them? They're my juniors. We're in a group together for a case, don't worry about it" she said as Jin smacked her arm.

"Yah take care of yourself. You should be resting now" he said as Jennie rubbed her arm.

"You should be careful or I'll tell Jisoo" she said sticking her tongue out like a kid while he rolled his eyes at her.

"Aish this kid never changes, always using blackmail" Namjoon. Said laughing at her as Mrs.Min opened a box of gimbap.

"Here, hospital food must taste terrible. So I made this, don't worry, it's healthy" she said placing it on the free space of the table while Mr.Min cleared it off, and Jennie smiled widely.

"Gimbap?!" She exclaimed happily as she opened it, and thanked her for the meal before digging in.

"Oh this is great. Thank you" she said after her first bite while Mrs.Min only smiled.

They talked for a while before they all had to leave, due to visiting hours ending, and Sana and Jungkook were only allowed in due to them working on a case.

Taehyungs parents were set to come later, as they had connections with the hospital they could come in.

She only had to stay in here for one week, and the second week she got to go home and come in once every 3 days to get her wound cleaned and stitches done, then once two weeks are over she would get them removed.

Sounded great.

Jennie sighed against the board as she stretched her arms.

This was tiring.

She wanted to actually be out and finish the case as fast as possible, so that it would be over with.

But here she was trapped in a hospital room, stuck on her bed, and unable to work on the case properly.

The door opened again as Sana and Jungkook came in again, and she came back to the present to work on the case.

It was the main issue at the moment after all.
