Jisoo opened the door by typing in the password as she walked in, placing her hand bag on the rack.

It was early in the morning, around 7:50 a.m, and she was supposed to leave for work soon.

Taking her heels off and leaving her keys in the basket she walked into the living room to pass into the kitchen, but stared, a little bewildered, at the figure sleeping on the couch.

"Aish this kid, he has a whole bedroom yet he still chose to sleep on the couch. What a weird idiot." she muttered as she saw Taehyung on his couch cuddled up with a blanket.

"What even is the point of a bed." she muttered before smacking his arm.

"Yah get up!" She shouted at him as he suddenly woke
up, sitting up right, but calmed down after he saw his, as he calls it, 'lunatic of a sister'.

"Ah noona why are you waking me up?" He groaned drowsily with a hint of annoyance laced in his words.

"You're literally sleeping on the couch, it's 7:50, and this is why you can't live alone." she said as he started to take notice of his surroundings.

"Why am I even sleeping here?" He muttered to himself as Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"Wow, you yourself can't remember the reason you're here, Aish what can I even do with you?" She said exhaustingly.

They both froze however as a figure walked out from the kitchen wearing sports shorts and an oversized T shirt.

"Unnie?" Jennie asked shocked at why Jisoo was here.

"Jennie?" Jisoo also asked shocked and confused as she saw her, wondering how her new friend who's close with the fried chicken store owners family was doing in her brothers house.

"Wait you two know each other?" Taehyung asked even more confused than the two as he didn't even know they'd ever met before.

"Are you.. dating my brother?" Jisoo asked causing both Taehyung and Jennie's eyes to bulge out their sockets.

"What? No!" He exclaimed denying it as Jennie just waved her hands in a denying manner.

"No no.... I'm his roommate. Based on you asking whether I was his girlfriend, I'm guessing you're not his girlfriend either, so umm, why are you here at 8 in the morning?" She asked.

"I'm his sister. I stayed over at a hotel last night and drove here to eat breakfast and shower in peace... but this is an interesting turn of events.." she said looking between the pair as Jennie chuckled.

"Wow, who would've guessed that we would meet again here of all places." Jennie laughed as Jisoo nodded.

"Exactly. Wait since you're his roommate, do you know why this idiot was sleeping on the couch?" She asked as Jennie smiled at her:

"Mhm, he passed out from drinking last night, and I noticed and left him a blanket because honestly? I can't move him myself." she pointed out as Jisoo nodded and Taehyung sighed thankfully.

"Well.. let's forget about him and get breakfast. When's your first class?" Jisoo asked as she approached the kitchen and linked arms with Jennie.

"Ah 9, but I have to shower because I just got back from the gym, and need to get ready and whatnot. Come eat with me, I already made pancakes." Jennie invited as the two chatted away walking in leaving a confused Taehyung.

"I still don't get how they know each other. Fried chicken shop? Huh?" He muttered as he sat there a moment but rushed to the kitchen once he remembered the pancakes.

As he approached the counter he began wanting to take a plate but stopped when two hands swatted it away.

"Wash your hands."

"Brush your teeth"

the two said at the same time making them chuckle but nonetheless it was enough to make Taehyung surrender and leave to the bath room.

He returned to a plate of pancakes placed for him at the dining table as he sat along side Jisoo and opposite Jennie.

"I never knew you had a sister." Jennie said as she put a piece of strawberry in her mouth passing one along to Jisoo.

"Well we never did talk about... family that much." He shrugged as Jennie seemingly nodded.

"True. So unnie, I heard you and Jin Oppa work at the same company. Which one of you is his boss again?" She asked as Jisoo drizzled some more maple syrup on her own pancake.

"Ah. I do have the team leader role, but that doesn't mean I boss him around. Wendy, him, and I are pretty close so I only take my role to my advantage when I'm hungry." she said as Jennie chuckled and a confused Taehyung sat beside the pair.

"Huh? Wendy? Jin? Who are these people? And why does Jennie know your coworkers and I don't? What?" He asked as Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"It's because it's none of your business. Shut up and eat." she said smacking his forearm as he rubbed it with a frown.

"Noona just because you're older it doesn't give you the right to abuse me!" he protested as Jisoo shook her head at him.

"Oh unnie, where do you work again?" Jennie asked Jisoo eating the final piece of pancakes on her plate.

"I work in the marketing division of KT, why?" She asked as Jennie shook her head.

"It's because I wanted to know how far it was. Let's shower quickly and I'll drop you." she said as Jisoo immediately started refusing.

"No no, it's too much work for you. I'll get a cab don't worry." she said as Jennie also refused.

"No way, you're my good friend now, and apparently his sister, I'm dropping you. Plus Jin Oppa really likes pancakes so I'll get him a box. It's not that far either, KT's main building is nearby." she said as Jisoo just sighed.

"Alright fine, but we should go quick." she said checking her wrist watch as Jennie nodded.

"Okay, let's go." Jennie replied walking out to her bedroom to shower as Jisoo went to the guest bathroom.

"Wait who's Jin. And you still haven't explained how you two know each other!" Taehyung yelled out still confused.
