"What?" Jennie asked not sure if she heard right as she faced him from the couch.

"I didn't mean if you actually remembered, but I just kind of blurted it out to Jimin that we made out.." Taehyung said awkwardly as Jennie just raised an eyebrow.

"Surprised it took you so long, if I remember you two told each other everything. And I mean everything." she says leaning back as Taehyung shrugged.

"Sometimes things have to be held secret, for.... world peace" he replied dramatically as Jennie let out a laugh at his antics.

"Honestly he probably would have made it a bigger deal than we needed it to be if we would have told him then, same with Irene. She would have freaked." she said shaking her head at their two best friends.

That's what happens when you get dramatic bitches.

"Yeah.. talking about Irene, I heard she was dating someone?" He asked as Jennie nodded.

"Mhm, you know Suho? He's also from the same department as her, but they started dating because he had a crush on her for over a year. It took him a year to finally grow the balls to ask her out and she said yes, and now they're happily dating and probably will get married." Jennie summed up before turning to him once more.

"What about Jimin?" She asked as Taehyung shook his head.

"His ass is as single as its ever been. Although I heard he became friends with a group of students who had mutual friends between SNU and Honguk university so he started hanging out with them a lot more." Taehyung told her as she just sighed.

"My sister goes there, she must know that group because that kid is a social butterfly."  She informed as he nodded.

"Anyways, how was your first week?" Taehyung asked as he walked into the kitchen.

"It was exhausting. I had to literally find my way around campus and got lost at least twice, and on top of that everyone teaches in Korean here and there was so much vocabulary I needed to learn over the summer, and ironically in the next two weeks finals start for us. What an amazing time to join." she ended sarcastically as Taehyung only chuckled and plopped onto the couch beside her.

"Soju?" He offered her a bottle as her eyes lit up at the sight of the Korean alcoholic drink.

"Oh yes please!" she said as she reached towards it, and before he could hand her a shot glass she already started sipping from the bottle, as he remembered her alcohol issue.

"Why do you keep drinking if it doesn't even help you get into your subconscious thinking?" He asked her as she shrugged.

"Honestly?  It may not get me drunk or whatever, but it does help get rid of head aches. Don't ask me how, but it does make you a little light headed, but not enough that it makes me drunk drunk." She explained as he nodded.

"Well that's good for you, but I'm going to stick to shot glasses and sipping at it." he said motioning to his own bottle as she nodded.

"You do you."

"Either way, piece of advice, during legal property classes always sit to the back, she never notices you in the back because of reverse reverse psychology. She thinks all the bad kids moved to the front to not get picked on, but no one did." He explained as she listened.

"Thanks for the tip. By the way, how's your group work going?" She asked him as he shrugged.

"It's fine, I got paired with two juniors in which one of them is always flirting, but at least she gets the work done. You?" He asked as she smiled remembering the two kids.

"They're absolute sweethearts. I got paired with two kids who didn't have partners because they weren't picked, and they are actually pretty good. They banter a lot among each other, but they get serious when it comes to work. We chose an AA case." She explained as he took her information in.

"It sounds like your group is nice. And you got to pick too, mine was manually assigned. Who are they? I might know them." he asked as Jennie smiled.

"Who's they?" asked back slightly teasing the male as she took another swig at the green soju bottle.

"God your teammates obviously." he exasperated as she chuckled at his frustrated behaviour.

"Jeon Jungkook and Minatozaki Sana, absolute angels I'll tell you that. They seem to have a few downfalls, but it's nothing a little bit of training can't fix." She said as Taehyung widened his eyes.

"Jungkook? As in Jeon Jungkook? As in junior year?" He clarified as Jennie nodded.

"Yep, he's good At field work but sucks at paper work. Do you actually know the kid or something? You look shocked.." She asked him as she lightly hit his arm to bring him out of his thinking trance.

"I do know him. He stuck to me like glue for a whole year. He's a family friend, pretty close. He just called me earlier today excited about his mentor or something, but it's a twist knowing it's you who he his mentor." He said as Jennie shrugged.

"Oh so that's why his friends story sounded familiar." Jennie realised as Taehyung raised an eyebrow.

"The orphanage one?" He clarified as she nodded.

"That's new, and will probably be a little awkward now, but it's nothing I can't handle. Either way, kid needs to study his actual syllabus more than the old 1990's newspapers. Tell him that will you?" She asked as he scoffed.

"Do I look like his mother?" He remarked dramatically offended as he faced her with his palm across his now broader chest.

Now that she realised he was different in a few other aspects too, such as height and others as well. It was honestly refreshingly.

Jennie snapped out her thoughts almost immediately as she answered his question.

"Well if we add a wig, you could a little. You already proved your gossip test with me, and you're dramatic expressions could use some work. Call keeping up with the Kardashians once you have. Once in a life time deal, you know." she said acting at the end as their laughter filled the apartment.

Although the pair didn't admit it, it certainly felt nice, and comfortable.

Very, very comfortable.
