As the pair were chatting it off suddenly Jennie's phone rang from inside the house as she excused herself to pick it up.

Meanwhile Taehyung and his mom were left alone.

"Great job not including me and making me feel left out mom." He muttered sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"Yah shut it. We were just talking about each other and you couldn't keep up with it because you lack social interaction.
Maybe get some friends and this would deal better." she said scoffing in the end at her own son.

"Mom, I'm your only son, aren't you supposed to be nice to me?" He said as the normal mom and son banter began.

"Maybe do something for me to be nice to you for, all you do is sit in here or go to school. Thank god your school has that group team thing because otherwise you would've been gone." she said to him as she sat back as he could only try and recover from that.

"But it-" he started but got cut off when Jennie came out stuffing her hand bag and dressed again.

"I'm so sorry Imo but I got a call from the school saying I had to urgently be there because of something to do with tomorrow. I'll see you later, and please just leave the dishes as they are I'll do them once I'm back. Bye" she said hurriedly as she spoke to her and bowed at the end.

"Oh alright. Don't worry we'll be fine I know things must have been hectic for you with it being your first day back and all, go ahead now." she said as Jennie bowed a final time and grabbed her keys leaving.

"Taehyung go do the dishes" his mom said as she placed her now empty cup on the tray and stood up as well and he looked at her in disbelief.

"Why should I?" He questioned as his mom only looked at him.

"She made the tea, you could do the dishes at least, have some self respect, also come and help me unpack the side dishes from home." she said as she walked towards the question as he only limply followed.

Meanwhile Jennie just arrived into the main campus building as she stepped out closing her door behind her, as she walked forward replying to a few text messages on her phone whilst her black pump heels clicked against the pavement floor.

Because no students were present, the day was quiet and peaceful as she found her way to the office which she was called to.

The rusty gold coloured plate was indicating the professors office, which she was called to as there was apparently something that needed to be sorted out before her first day on Monday.

Knocking twice on the door, a 'come in' voiced out as she opened the door and stepped in bowing at the professor.

She noticed two other figures in the room, a boy and a girl as they bowed to her which she acknowledged bowing back and stood at the desk.

"Mr.Lim I heard you called for me, is anything the problem?" She asked as he shook his head.

"No-no, nothing of that sort. Please have a seat." he said motioning her to sit down as she did.

"You see, we do things a little different in this school. As this is your third year you will receive a student license to work on cases as per the curriculum, and you are taking criminal law as your choice correct?" He asked as she nodded.

"Well, we usually assign a group in this school. A senior, which is you and two second years. They were supposed to get paired with a senior in order for it to work, but all the seniors got Paired with second years, and a handful of students got left out." He began to explain as he passed a sheet containing the details of the said curriculum.

"But since you are here, we thought that we would get the two juniors left with the best grades to pair with you." He said as she looked back whether to confirm if the two kids she saw earlier were the ones he was talking about.

They bowed to her immediately and looked quite socially awkward.

"Yes it's them. Here's their file." he said as he handed her a clear covered file, with four papers containing their information, two each.

Jennie rose an eyebrow at some of their work, seeing how they had a few impressive points as she looked the two up and down one more time.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind them on my group." she said as the pair's smiles grew wider than she thought they would've as they silently rejoiced.

"Really? That's great then. I'll assign your case choices tomorrow and so on. Have a great year you all. I'm assuming you'll stick with them till their senior year since you are taking the extra two years correct?" He asked confirming as she nodded.

"You two, you can leave now." He told the younger students as they got up and bowed leaving the room.

The professor turned to Jennie once again.

"Will you stay with them once you're done with your senior year?" He asked her looking up.

"Yes. I don't like switching partners too often. It's not logical." she replied as he nodded.

"Alright, well here's your student license. Have a great day. I'll see you tomorrow for your first class with me." he told her as Jennie nodded.

She got up and bowed a final time leaving the room as she closed the door behind her putting her license in her bag.

Meanwhile as she looked up she saw her two new group mates talking with someone, who she assumed were their friends, but quickly corrected her self once she heard the conversation.

"You two, why are you back again? Are you hoping again that you finally got a group mate now because your dumb selves weren't enough to get chosen the first time?" A guy picked on them as Jennie's eyebrows furrowed in dislike.

"I bet they didn't get it this time either. What losers, you'll fail later." another said snickering at them.

Before they could continue, their words swallowed them as they saw the figure in front of them now.

"Jeon Jungkook, Minatozaki Sana, walk with me as we discuss details for our group please" she said as she approached the pair, cutting the bullies off.

They looked at her astonished and nodded frantically as they walked, the people teasing the pair moments ago standing stunned.

"You two should stand up for yourselves. They're just pricks." Jennie said as she walked ahead but the two quickly caught up.

"What?" Sana asked a little confused.

"You heard me. They're just insecure. Anyways nice to meet you both, I'm Kim Jennie." she said as introducing herself as the two bowed.

"I would ask you to introduce yourselves as well, but I just read your files a moment ago, so there's no need. I hope we work well together, Jungkook and Sana, let's meet tomorrow evening." she said before leaving to her car, as the two only watched her.

"She's so cool." Jungkook stated as Sana nodded.

His phone rang suddenly as he looked at it.

"See you later Sana, Taehyung hyung is calling." he said leaving the girl who also went her own way.

"Hi hyung. I have great news, want to get japchae?"
