Jennie's eyes began to open slightly as she took alert of her surroundings.

Heart rate monitor.

Hospital gown.

IV drip

She was definitely in the hospital for all she knew.

The last thing she remembered was being attacked, and now she was here.

Turning to the side she saw a familiar blonde Sitting down at her bedside in tears, and she seemed to be on the phone.

"Rosie" she said carefully as the girl immediately looked up and hugged her, careful not to touch her injury.

"Yah Yah don't cry, I'm alright okay" Jennie said comforting the younger who was bursting into tears on her shoulder.

"No you're not! How could you have gone in their on your own?! What if something happened to you? What am I going to do then?" She rambled whilst crying even more as Jennie shifted her body to the side, and motioned for her to sit on the side where the injury wasn't there.

Rosé did as instructed, being extra careful still.

"Do you know how shocked I was when I received that call from the hospital, that my sister was in there stabbed? Stabbed god! I was scared.... I was so scared that it was a lot more serious" she said as Jennie just painfully smiled at her sister and brushed the hair out of her eyes, patting her head as well.

"Shhh shhh. It's okay. I'm okay. I have to go to crime scenes, it's my job right? Hm? Don't worry I'm fine." She said as she comforted her, while Rosé nodded wiping her tears.

"Promise me, that you'll be more careful. A lot more careful" Rosé said holding out her pinky while Jennie smiled in reassurance and linked the smallest fingers.

"I promise okay? Hm?" She said as Rosé nodded wiping her tears further with her sleeve while Jennie moved the covers and motioned for the taller to lay on her arm.

Rosé hesitated because she didn't want to hurt her further.

"It's fine, I'm hurt on the other side, and it's not that bad"  she said as she motioned for her to sit, while Rosé nodded and did so.

It was true, the wound wasn't that bad, it was barely in her stomach, she only fainted due to the pain and blood loss, and the shock of it all affecting her at the same time.

Rosé carefully moved under the covers before laying next to Jennie who wrapped her free hand around the younger.

"Do mom and dad know?" Jennie asked as Rosé nodded a yes.

"Even though I'm your main guardian since I'm in Korea, they are still your legal parents. They found out recently and I was messaging them earlier" Rosé explained as Jennie nodded.

"Well, what, what are they saying?" She asked a little scared to hear what they thought as Rosé sighed.

"They were really scared. Mom is flying home as soon as she can, and dad can't, but he was messaging a lot. And I mean a lot, because I said I didn't want to wake you up while you were resting and didn't take any calls" she explained as Jennie nodded.

"What time is it?" She asked as Rosé looked at her own watch.

"It's early, like 7 a.m in the morning" she said as Jennie nodded.

"When did you arrive?" She asked Rosé.

"Around 1:30? You got here by 12:45" she explained.

"Didn't your roommate get suspicious? Or my group mates?" Jennie asked as she remembered the others.

"Oh shit right!" Rosé said sitting up as Jennie wanted to laugh.

"They're outside, be right back!" She yelled running out as Jennie chuckled, but stopped wincing at the pain.

That would take at least two weeks to heal.

Not even moments later three kids Burst into the room startling the poor girl as she looked at them like a deer caught in headlights.

"Unnie!" Sana went first as she approached Jennie and held her hand and Jennie just raised her eyebrows confused.

"Oh my god noona we thought you were going to die!" Jungkook went next as Lisa sat on one of the chairs.

"It's good you've rested. Unlike these lunatics I'm calmer since it wasn't that deep. But they just couldn't stop freaking out. At least they didn't cause too much of a scene" Lisa said crossing her arms and leaning on the bed as Jennie just smiled at all three of them.

"Well thank you either way. Jungkook, Sana, since it's a bigger room, get some sleep on the couches. There's some...... things to talk about" Jennie said careful as there were two others in the room who had no idea of the depths of the case.

"Is it..... related?" Jungkook Also asked carefully as Jennie nodded.

"Very much so. This whole thing is related, and it just got a lot deeper" she said sighing as Sana only sighed and nodded.

She went first and sat down as Jungkook followed, and Lisa and Rosé stayed at the bed.

"What was that all about?" Rosé asked as Jennie shook her head.

"It's nothing you need to worry about. Just school work" she said smiling as Lisa rolled her eyes.

"You SNU law people, you're even doing work in the hospital. Just how much work do they give you" she exclaimed as Rosé laughed at her being salty at the college in a hospital.

"Also rosie, when is mom coming?" Jennie asked as Rosé sighed remembering.

"Right, she's coming in like 4 days. It's a Monday night, no Tuesday morning, god hospitals mess me up. Either way, she's coming on Saturday then"
Rosé declared as Jennie nodded.

"Okay, that gives me enough time to, well, prepare for mom" Jennie sighed as she felt her hair.

"Hold on, where's my phone?" She asked as Rosé opened her eyes once again and went to a cupboard in the hospital suit room.

"Here, I couldn't open it because it's locked." The younger said handing Jennie the phone as she smiled.

"Thanks you two, for everything. Lisa go home and sleep, you came here at 1:30 in the morning. You too rosie. If you want, come back later. I'll be fine" Jennie said as she ushered the two to go home, which at first they completely refused but after some convincing from Jennie, they finally agreed cautiously, but not after warning her they would be back soon.

"What am I going to do now" Jennie muttered as she looked around.
