Run Away (Twilight/ F&F crossover)

Chapter Twenty One

      Daria let Nymphadora run around, as she finished up with anything that needed to be set up for the party. As Daria was setting out the candies and snacks, she heard a knock on the front. She laid the final bowl down in the middle of the table, before running to the door and opening it.

"Hey Sue, Seth, Harry, come on in." Daria said, and Sue smiled.

"Hey Darling, these are the boys I was telling you about," Sue began, as she turned towards the two boys,"that's Jacob Black and the boy next to him is Quil Atera," She informed, before turning back towards Daria,"Boys, this is Darling Toretto, and the little girl eating candy out of the dish in the kitchen is her daughter, Nymphadora." She introduced, as Daria turned towards the kitchen.

"No, Dora! Don't eat that! You've already had some!" Daria exclaimed, as she ran toward the kitchen.

"Darling, where do we set the gifts?" Harry asked, as he followed her into the kitchen.

"There's a table over there for gifts." Daria replied, pointing towards the table that already had gifts on it.

      Seth, Sue, Harry, Jacob, and Quil set gifts down on the table, before the three teens walked over and grabbed some candy and snacks. Nymphadora walked away from the table, then followed the boys into the living room. She sat herself between Seth and Jacob, and Seth secretly fed Nymphadora candy, causing her to giggle. Jacob and Quil shared as well, though they felt it was more awkward than Seth ever did.

"Boys, what are you doing?" Daria asked, scaring the three teens and Nymphadora.

"Nothing, just chilling." Seth answered, trying to act nonchalant about feeding the toddler candy, after she was told he didn't need anymore.

"Uh huh, well, Sam should be here soon with the pizza, so don't eat too much. After pizza we'll do the pinata, then sing happy birthday, eat cake and ice cream, then finally open gifts." Daria stated, before walking out of the room.

      Seth started playing with Nymphadora, as Jacob and Quil scowled at each other. Neither boy wanted to see Sam and his "gang," but they didn't have a choice, not if they were going to stay for the party. Sue knew the two teens didn't get along with Sam, but she wanted Nymphadora to have the best birthday possible.

      Sam showed up soon after, loads of stuff packed in his truck that he had drove to carry everything. Paul, Embry, and Jared had ran their in their wolf forms, but grabbed shirts from Sam's truck before they started grabbing presents, treats, and pizza. As soon as Sam knocked on the door, Seth ran over and answered it. Nymphadora was perched on his back, holding her little arms around his neck.

"Hey, where's Darling?" Sam asked, as Seth let him and the rest of the pack into Daria's house.

     The air grew tense when Sam and the pack made eye contact with Jacob and Quil, but they made sure to keep calm for Nymphadora and Daria's safety.

"She's filling the pinata with Mom and Dad in the kitchen." Seth answered, leading the pack into the kitchen.

     Daria grinned when she seen Sam and the pack. She stood from her spot at the table, grabbing things from the pack to put them where they go.

"All gifts go on that table." Harry said, giving Paul a side-eyed glance.

      The pack placed the mountain of gifts down on the table, before Paul, Jared, and Embry began to grab candy and snacks to eat.

"As soon as Sue and I are finished packing the pinata, I'll get everyone ready for pizza." Daria stated, causing Sue to shake her head.

"Harry and I will finish this, you feed the hungry animals." Sue said jokingly, causing Daria to laugh slightly.

     Daria turned around and her eyes widened when she seen how many pizzas Sam had bought.

"This must've costed a fortune." She commented, and Sam shrugged.

"I didn't know what type of pizza you and Nymphadora would eat, so I got two of everything the guys named off when I was ordering." Sam replied, causing her to laugh.

"So they named off the whole menu?" She asked jokingly, and Jared nodded.

"Paul, Embry, Sam, and I can eat a whole pizza by ourselves, so we figured everyone else could, too." Jared said, and Daria scoffed in amusement.

"You'd be lucky if Dora and I could eat half a pizza together." Daria replied, as Jared shook his head in disbelief.

"Oh Darling, if you're going to be around, you and Nymphadora will have to learn to eat more than that." He retorted, catching himself before he could call Nymphadora a 'pup' and potentially blow their cover.

       Daria laughed, as she walked out of the kitchen and made her way into the living room. She seen the three teens playing with Nymphadora, causing Daria to smile lightly.

"Boys, time for pizza. What do you want?" Daria asked, causing all three boys to shrug.

      Rolling her eyes, Daria walked back into the kitchen. She counted the pizzas and seen there was enough for everyone to have their own pizza with two pizzas still left over, which she was sending home with Sam. She wasn't keeping anymore than she and Nymphadora could eat, and she knew sending extras home with Sam would make sure they wouldn't go to waste.

       Daria grabbed a pizza each and brought them into the living room, setting them down in front of the boys. She then picked up Nymphadora to bring her into the kitchen.

"Eat up, boys. You got a pizza each." Daria stated, as she walked out of the room.

       She set Daria down in a highchair, then grabbed a plate for pizza. She cut the pizza up in little bites, before placing them down in front of Nymphadora. She also grabbed a couple pieces for herself. Everyone else, other than Sue, grabbed a whole pizza to eat.

"Save room for cake and ice cream guys. There's no way I'm letting Dora and the teenagers in there eat it all by themselves." Daria stated, and the pack nodded, though they knew they would be able to eat cake and ice cream even if they ate a whole pizza.

       The party really was going very well, for now...
