Chapter Eighty Three

     Almost an hour later, the nurse sent almost everyone out of the room so Daria could give birth to her son. The only people who were able to stay was Sam and Letty, but that was because Daria chose for them to stay. She really didn't want anyone else seeing her lady bits anyway. Her mother had the same parts, so it wasn't really too awkward, and Sam had seen her lady bits more than once, obviously since she was about to give birth to his son. Daria would've allowed Ramsey to stay, but Ramsey had never seen a baby coming out of a girl's lady bits, so Daria didn't want the girl to pass out in the middle of the birth.

     Anyhow, after almost thirty minutes, Daria was ready to give birth, which wasn't too exciting. Daria remembered how uncomfortable it was for her to have Nymphadora, and since she didn't get to have an epidural since she was so far along, she was going to feel more pain than she had when she gave birth to her daughter.

       Without the epidural, it took Daria almost an hour to birth her son, since the pain was so intense. She had to take a couple of breaks, since she couldn't catch her breath a couple of times. Once the baby was out, the nurse placed him on Daria's chest, letting the girl meet her son. The boy screamed for a moment, but Daria couldn't keep the tired smile off of her face. The nurse allowed Sam to cut the umbilical cord, before she took the baby and went to clean him up. Another nurse cleaned up Daria, making sure she was completely clean and wouldn't get an infection.

       Once Daria was cleaned up and back in a clean bed, she was able to lay back and have a sigh of relief. After the nurse cleaned up the little boy, she placed a diaper on him, before swaddling him and slipping a small hat on to his head. She then brought the little boy to his mother, placing him gently into her arms.

"Are you ready to fill out the birth certificate?" The nurse asked, and Daria nodded.

"I'll go tell everyone, if you're ready for visitors." Letty said, causing Daria to agree.

     Sam was able to help the nurse fill out most of the birth certificate, before Daria had to finish the rest of it. She signed the certificate, then told the nurse the baby's name. Once the certificate was filled out, the nurse walked out of the room to give Daria and her family privacy. About the time the nurse left, Letty came back with the rest of the family; Tej carrying Nymphadora on his hip, as she sleepily laid her head on his shoulder. All of the tiredness went away, as soon as she seen the small baby in her mother's arms.

"He's beautiful, Darling." Ramsey said, causing Daria to smile.

"Thank you." Daria replied, glancing down at her son.

"What's his name?" Paul asked, looking over at the little boy.

"Everyone, meet James Tyler Uley." Daria announced, holding him up a bit for everyone to see.

      Tej placed Nymphadora on the hospital bed, allowing her to slowly crawl up to see her little brother. As soon as her little eyes landed on the baby, tears swelled up and started to trickle down her cheeks.

"Dora, what's wrong?" Letty asked, concern lacing her voice.

"He's so cute." She cried, and everyone smiled.

"Want to give him a kiss?" Sam asked, and Nymphadora nodded.

     She leaned forward and gently placed a kiss on the little boy's cheek, watching as a small smile graced his lips. Sam helped Daria pull Nymphadora into her lap, before placing James in the big sister's arms. Daria's arms stayed around them, of course, but Nymphadora loved being able to hold her baby brother. Nymphadora leaned forward and gently gave the little boy a hug, showing as much affection as she could to the boy. She knew to be careful, since she didn't want to hurt him.

      After a moment or two, Nymphadora allowed Daria to let the others greet the baby. Once the baby was in Tej's arms, as he stood between Roman and Ramsey, Daria looked up at Sam with a smile on her face. He gave the girl a nod, letting her know she should go ahead and tell them the good news.

"Hey, Rome, Tej, and Ramsey, he's adorable, isn't he?" Daria commented, causing the trio to nod.

"He looks so cute. Honestly, you have the cutest children." Ramsey said, as the two men agreed.

"How would you feel to be godmother, Ramsey?" Daria asked, and Ramsey gasped.

"Are you serious?!" She squeaked, causing Daria to nod.

"Of course, I'm serious." She replied, and Ramsey grinned.

"Yes! I'd love to be his godmother! Thank you!" Ramsey gushed, as she ran over and hugged Daria lightly.

"Tej, Roman, would you two like to be his godfathers?" Daria asked, causing the two men to look over at her.

"Isn't a baby only supposed to have one godfather?" Roman asked, and Daria nodded.

"Well, yes, but I couldn't choose between the two of you. So, what do you guys say?" She asked, causing them to smile.

"Of course." Tej answered, grinning down at the baby that was still in his arms.

"I say, hell yes." Roman replied, and Daria laughed, watching Tej elbow Roman in the side.

"Dude, don't cuss in front of little man, Brian, or Dora." Tej scolded, and Roman smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry, I'm not use to sensorying myself in front of children." Roman said, as the others laughed.

"You'll get use to it, I mean, James needs his godparents around quite often, doesn't he?" Daria commented, and the trio nodded quickly.

     Daria knew she made the perfect choice with the trio. She would've picked one of the pack, but she knew they'd always have more time with her kids than the others would, so she believed the others deserved the honor a bit more. It was hard for her to make the choice, but the choice worked out amazingly...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. So, there'll be a few more chapters. I'm not sure how many chapters will be in this book when it's finished, but I know it'll be at least ninety.
