Days had passed and it was finally time for Daria to voice her decision. She felt as though she was dying, but she knew everyone was waiting for her answer. After getting dressed and ready for the day, Daria walked into the living room and seen Jared playing with Nymphadora.
Barely ten minutes later, Daria heard cars outside of the pack house. Sighing silently, Daria walked outside and waited for the pack and her family to all be present. Jared handed Nymphadora to Daria, hoping to calm her nerves. The pack could practically feel all her anxiety running through her body.
"Have you made your decision?" Her father asked, arms crossed across his chest.
"Yes, I have." She replied quietly, trying not to seem upset or weak.
Daria could see the hope in her family's eyes, which made her chest tighten. She knew just how much they loved her, even when she found it hard to love herself. They loved her despite all her flaws, something she could barely do for herself.
"I-I want to stay here." Daria answered, watching as her family's faces flashed with pain.
"A-are you sure?" Mia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I'm sure, but I want to see you all. I know it's a long trip, but I want to visit and I want you all to visit. I don't want to feel distant from my family anymore. I'm doing what is best for Dora and myself. Even with that in mind, I don't want you all to forget about us. I want you all to be a part of our lives as much as possible. I want everyone to get along, even if it seems a little out of the picture right now. I want everything to get better for Dora and I." Daria stated, looking between her family and the pack.
Daria knew her demands weren't going to be met immediately, which was why she laid them all out at once. Her family and the pack were still very wary of each other, and they would be for a while, but she wanted them to get along eventually; if not for her, than for Nymphadora.
"We can't promise anything, but we'll be around when we can, Darling, for you and for Nymphadora." Her father said, causing Daria to smile.
Slowly, Daria walked over to her father, before she laid her head on his chest and wrapped one of her arms around him, the other arm still holding Nymphadora. Letty quickly made her way over, wrapping the three of them in a hug, causing Dom to hug them tightly.
"Mi familia." Her father whispered, kissing the three girls on their heads.
"Would you like to hold her?" Daria asked, once they pulled away from the hug.
Dom nodded slightly, causing Daria to smile. She carefully handed her daughter over, watching as her father held the little girl and smiled. As Dom held Nymphadora with a smile on his face, talking to her with such a happy tone, Daria walked around and hugged the rest of her family.
"You all can take turns holding her. She'd love to meet the rest of her damily." Daria said, looking at her family with a smile on her face.
Daria had missed them dearly, and now it seemed like they were finally back in her life, even if it wasn't going to be easy. Dom and Letty loved their granddaughter, more than words could explain. She may have been a big secret and surprise, but she was amazing nonetheless.
"C'mon, converse everyone." Daria commented, practically pulling the pack and her family together to talk.
Roman and Jared seemed to get along first, since they both had very playful attitudes. Tej and Embry called a truce amongst their hate for each other, since Tej and Embry could see how much Daria and Nymphadora meant to each of them. Han and Paul seemed to get along, which almost confused Daria, since she wasn't sure they really had correlating personalities. Brian and Mia spoke to Sam first, allowing Dom and Letty to spend time with Daria and Nymphadora.
Dom passed Nymphadora to Brian, allowing him and Mia to spend time with her. Daria went and spoke with them, as Dom and Letty decided to finally speak to Sam, rather it was to end their feud or not wasn't clear yet. Dom and Letty needed quite a bit of information on Sam before they decided if he was close to good enough for their daughter and granddaughter or not.
"She looks just like you." Mia commented, and Daria smiled.
"Yeah, I'm honestly happy she looks just like me, otherwise she wouldn't really look like mine." Daria replied, and Mia laughed slightly.
"You know you could've told us, Darling. We wouldn't have hated you or be disappointed with you. We love you, and we would've helped you through everything." Brian said, causing Daria to nod.
"I know, but it's the past now. Besides, I wouldn't have met Sam and the others if I wouldn't have left. Sure, I hate myself for leaving and abandoning you all, but I wouldn't change it now." Daria answered, sighing slightly.
"I hope you get everything you ever desired while staying here, Darling." He commented, and she smiled, wrapping her arms around him again.
"I love you, Uncle Brian." She murmured, as Brian kissed the top of her head.
"I love you." He replied, causing Mia to smile.
Mia had missed Daria quite a bit, but she was glad that Daria was finally back in their lives. She loved meeting Nymphadora, as did the rest of the family. Seeing Daria, Brian, and Nymphadora's interactions with one another made Mia wonder how everything would've been if she had stayed, but like Daria had said, it was all in the past now.
Daria hoped she'd be able to see her family more, and she hoped for the same for Nymphadora. Family was everything, so Nymphadora was going to grow up cherishing her family. Daria just hoped nothing would cause any problems for her, her family, her daughter, or the pack...
