Run Away (Twilight/ F&F crossover)

Chapter Forty Five

       Sam brought Jacob back to the pack house later that day, a scowl evident on his face as he brought the boy into his home. He honestly didn't trust Jacob around Daria and Nymphadora, but he didn't want to not like the boy solely because the boy was a nuisance before he had shifted. Sam could tell Jacob would question his authority often, but he didn't know how bad at times.

"Dinner's ready boys." Daria said, causing the rest of the pack to run into the kitchen.

     Seth held Nymphadora on his hip, knowing they would've unintentionally ran her over while running into the kitchen to get food. Daria grinned as she grabbed the girl from Seth's arms, and placed her in her between Daria and Sam.

"Thank you, Darling." The pack coursed, except for Jacob.

     Jacob seemed to be staring at Daria and Nymphadora with curious, yet unhappy, eyes, which was making Sam angry.

"Stop staring, man." Embry whispered, hitting Jacob on the arm.

     Jacob glared at Embry, but he reluctantly looked away from Daria and Nymphadora.

"Paul, since you won't be on patrol tomorrow, would you mind going out shopping with me? I've got to pick up new baby clothes and other supplies for the house." Daria commented, and Paul nodded, as Jacob seemed to snort.

"What?" Paul spat, glaring at Jacob.

"You're now an errand boy for her?" He asked, before looking back at Daria,"Why is she here again, with a baby?" He added, as Sam growled.

  "I'm not an errand boy, Jacob. I am protecting Darling from the redheaded leech your leech-lover attracted. Your leech-lover is the reason Darling and Nymphadora were attacked. When she asks a pack member to do something, we do it without question, Sam's orders, and that includes you. If Darling asks you to do something, you do it without her having to ask you twice, and without any problems." Paul sneered, as the rest of the pack nodded.

"So, she was attacked, now she's here? Bella was attacked and--" Jacob began, but Embry cut him off.

"Darling is Sam's imprint, so she's under our protection." Embry said, trying to defuse the tension.

"What if Bella--" Jacob began again, but this time Leah cut him off.

"Enough about Isabella Swan. She's a leech-lover, Jacob. She's using you for her own benefit. When the leeches come back, she'll drop you again. Don't ever compare Darling and Nymphadora to that leech-lover again, or I'll kick your ass." Leah spat, before she stood up and left the room.

       The pack and Daria were all surprised. Leah had never defended Daria and Nymphadora before, other than protecting them from Victoria, which was a pack mission, not only hers. Daria felt a smile coming to her lips as she thought about Leah's words. She was wondering if Leah was finally warming up to her.

"So," Jared said, breaking the silence,"anything new with Han?" He asked, causing Daria to shake her head.

"Not really, he told me about this kid Shawn, tearing up his car in a drift race. He's supposed to be training the kid how to drift, but it's apparently not easy. I caught on almost as soon as Han gave me the keys to his car, but it's not as easy for Shawn apparently. Shawn's friend Twinkie has been around a lot as well trying to encourage him, but according to Han, Twinkie doesn't make any difference." Daria stated, as Paul and Seth chuckled.

"Who's Han?" Jacob asked, completely confused.

"You have a lot to learn about Darling Toretto, and her crazy family." Seth answered, as Daria nodded in agreement.

"Her whole family is a bit scary, if I'm being honest. If we weren't shapeshifters, I would've ran far away from them as soon as they had came here to see Darling and Nymphadora." Embry said, causing the others to chuckle.

       Daria knew her family was intimidating, which is another reason she loved them. She could be intimidating when she wanted or needed to be, but she tried not to be intimidating all of the time.

"What's for dessert?" Paul asked, a grin on his face.

"Well, I didn't make anything." She answered, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.

        Sam chuckled, knowing his imprint had infact made a desert, she was just playing a little joke on the pack.

"Man, I wanted dessert. You've always made the best dessert." Seth whined, as Jared, Paul, and Embry nodded in agreement.

"I guess you're going to have to eat these instead." Daria replied, opening the oven and pulling out a tray full of homemade fried pies.

"Yes!" The pack cheered, as Daria laid a pie in front of her daughter.

"What's the flavor?" Jared asked, as he picked up a fried pie.

"Some are peach, some are apple, and some are cherry. They're all mixed, so you'll have to just grab one and see what it is." She answered, as she watched the rest of the pack grabbed a fried pie.

      Leah had even come into the kitchen again, only to grab a few fried pies, since she didn't want to be around Jacob. Jacob had officially pissed Leah off, so she needed to be as far away from him as she could be. Leah may not have completely accepted Sam and Daria's relationship, but she absolutely hated Bella Swan, so she wouldn't tolerate Jacob even remotely comparing Daria and Bella. Daria was a sweetheart with a badass attitude and she could kick your ass with heels on, Bella was just a whiny teenager who thought she should get everything she wanted, not even mentioning the fact that she was a leech-lover.

     Sam pulled Nymphadora's pie apart for her, since the little girl was struggling. Daria watched with a sweet smile on her face. Jacob watched curiously, since he didn't really understand the connection between Daria and Sa am, especially since Daria had a kid before she had ever met Sam. Jacob knew for a fact that he would refuse to ever imprint on a woman with a kid, even if that meant he'd have to be alone forever...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I've got an idea for Nymphadora having a soulmate. I was thinking of adding a new OC to the Cullen family. It would cause plenty of drama for the pack and the Cullens, or I can just have her be the imprint of one of the two younger wolves later on. Food for thought, let me know what you guys think. I'm almost positive on which I'd choose, but I'd still like to hear opinions.
