Run Away (Twilight/ F&F crossover)

Chapter Sixty Two

     Daria's driver had also picked up her Uncle Brian, knowing she'd be more comfortable if she had one of her family with her. The ride took a few hours, since they had to be brought to El Segundo, California. During the ride, her uncle told her stories about Jack. He had also showed her pictures of him, and she thought he was the most adorable little boy she had ever seen.

      After hours of riding, Daria and her uncle arrived at the secret hideout of Mr. Nobody. She and her uncle stepped out of the vehicle with their bags, as did Roman and Tej. They all sat their bags down together, before they walked over towards Dom and Mr. Nobody. Dom wasn't happy that his daughter was a part of the team, but he knew she wouldn't go down without a fight. He walked forward to greet his team, knowing they had all been on their own for a while.

"I wasn't expecting you to come." Dom said, as he hugged Daria.

"I had to come. Han deserves justice, and I'm not going to pass up beating the shit out of the guy who killed him." Daria replied, and Dom nodded.

"He'll get what's coming to him, Darling." Dom commented, causing Daria to smirk.

"If only you knew." She murmured, though she had already walked away from her father when she had said it, so he hadn't heard her.

       They had been told they were to rescue Ramsey to catch Shaw, which had disappointed Daria. If Daria had a weapon at the time, she could've finished Shaw before he ever had a chance to get away from them. A crowbar wasn't good enough, but a gun would've been. Sighing, they went back down to think of plans, but Mr. Nobody said he "completed" their team by inviting Letty. Daria smiled at Letty, but she knew her mother was still a bit off about her. Daria was disappointed that nobody had told her the truth, but she could easily tell that her mother wasn't all there, even though nobody had told her the truth. Letty and Dom shared a look, before Letty walked over to Daria and pulled the girl into a hug. Daria was caught off guard, but she smiled and hugged her mother back just as tightly.

     Daria was nervous when she climbed into the car she was given to complete Roman's idea. She knew they had to get Ramsey and God's Eye, but that didn't make her any less nervous.

"If I die, Rome, I'm going to haunt your ass for the rest of your life." Daria said, causing everyone to laugh slightly.

"You won't die, Darling." Dom stated, trying to calm his daughter.

"We're just falling out of a plane, Darling. Nothing to worry about. Besides, we've got parachutes." Tej commented, causing Daria to roll her eyes.

       Soon they were given their cue, before they began to fall from the plane one at a time. Daria was before Letty, which she wasn't too happy about.

"Rome, you praying? Fifty dollars says he's praying right now," Tej commented, causing Daria to laugh,"Roman, you need some fresh air? 'Cause you're fixing to get a whole lot of it." He added, before Dom backed up and fell from the plane first.

      Brian went after him, then Daria, then Letty, then Tej. Daria held her steering wheel tightly, her knuckles white with the strength she was holding the steering wheel with.

"Hey, everybody good? Everybody make it out?" Her Uncle Brian asked, as they continued to fall.

       They soon realized Roman hadn't fallen from the plane, which Daria figured would happen. She knew he was too scared to do it himself. "Cars don't fly," she'd say, and Roman seemed to live by that.

"Tej!" Dom exclaimed, and Daria smirked.

"I'm already on it." He replied, as he pulled out a remote.

"Hey man, listen. I'm sorry to let you all down, okay, I'm gonna go ahead and stay up here." Roman said, and Daria shook her head.

"No, brother. Im sorry to let you down." Tej replied, causing Daria to grin.

"What?" Roman murmured, before Tej hit a button and a parachute flew out of Roman's car to force him from the plane.

      As the car started to move, Roman slammed on the breaks to try and keep his car inside of the plane.

"Tej! What are you doing?!" Roman yelled, as he began to fall,"I hate you, Tej!"

     Daria just laughed the whole time, knowing damn well Tej would've done that either way, since he liked to mess with Roman.

"Ground's coming fast. Get ready." Brian announced, and Daria felt her heartbeat quicken.

"Ya know, we're crazy, right?" Letty commented, and Daria nodded in agreement to herself.

"Three. Two. One," Brian counted, as Daria grabbed her steering wheel tightly again,"Let's do this." He added, before their parachutes deployed., one by one.

    As soon as they hit the ground, they began racing down the road. They tried to stay as close to each other as possible, but it was somewhat hard, since they all hit the ground in random areas. Daria had landed in almost in the trees, but luckily she was able to hit solid ground and make it to the road.

"All check. Call it in." Dom said, and they all replied, other than Roman.

"Hello, please man. Get me outta here. Somebody. No the trees!" Roman exclaimed, and Daria frowned.

     She quickly checked her mirror and her eyes widened when she seen that Roman was stuck in the air with his parachute.

"Sit tight, Roman. We'll come back for you." Dom stated, as they continued down the road.

"This is not the plan!" Roman cried, and Daria smirked.

     The team soon met up with a bus and a few vehicles escorting it. Daria took a deep breath, getting ready for the real trouble to begin.

"Ramsey will be in the bus." Her uncle stated, as they drove closer.

"Then let's do this." Letty replied, stepping on the gas.

     As they drove closer towards the cars, the backs opened up and guys with guns appeared.

"Fuck." Daria murmured, knowing a real fight was going to ensue.

     She was not going down, especially by a dude with a gun...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. Im not feeling much better, but I had a chance to write a chapter. I'll be posting one or two more in like an hour or so, since you guys definitely want this scene of the movie to be finished all in the same day.
