Today was the last day of your second year in highschool and though you were sad your upperclassmen were leaving, you were excited for the year ahead of you.
You'd been chosen as captain for the team and that couldn't have made you happier. You shared an emotional goodbye with both the Niiyama and Itachiyama third years, both promising to come cheer you on next year. There's a month break before the first term starts so you decided to spend it at home with your family and Sakusa.

Kuroo and Bokuto graduated too of course, thankfully going to Tokyo university where you, Sakusa, Kenma and Akaashi would be attending. You'd heard that Atsumu and Suna would be going there too so you were thankful that so many people you knew would he attending.

Kanoka sadly wouldn't be going to Tokyo university but Maiko would be so that was a plus, it's always nice to have another girl around.

Bokuto and Kuroo rented a house with a bunch of rooms in it so it was decided that you, Akaashi, Kenma and Sakusa would move in for University so that was housing taken care of. Sakusa seemed a bit pouty about living with everyone else.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be clean" you assured him.
"That's not it.. I wanted to be alone with you" he mumbled.

"Ahhh Omi you're so cute" you said, hugging him. "We'll have busy schedules, plus that's all a year away, if you really don't want to then we can get our own place" you said. He shook his head. "No, I actually like the idea of living with friends, only until we graduate though" he assured you.

"Hm, okay then" you said, diving into the covers on your bed. "Let's sleep, I'm tired" you yawned. He got in beside you and pulled you close. "I can't wait to have you all to myself" he mumbled so quietly you weren't even sure you'd heard it. You only snuggled closer into his chest, smiling.

Being in love with the right person is a dream come true.

*1 year later*

"Y/NNNN!" Bokuto yelled happily.
"BO!!!" You yelled back, dropping your bag and hugging him.
Today was the day you'd be moving into the house you'd spend your time at for University.
Kuroo, Kenma and Akaashi had already arrived and set their stuff up earlier that day so it was just you and Sakusa left to put your stuff up. "Uni starts in a few days, yall gotta go unpack" Kuroo said.

He showed you to your room and then Sakusa to his and left you to unpack. After a few hours Sakusa came into your room to help you finish up.
Finally, you finished and took a shower, changing into one of Sakusa's jumpers and pyjama bottoms before heading to the living room where everyone was.
"Hinata and Atsumu are coming over by the way Kuroo announced.
"Hinata..?" you said, confused.

"You haven't met Hinata?" Bokuto said incredulously.
"No... should I have?" you said, panicking internally.
"Well, not really. He's a third year at Karasuno" Kuroo explained.
"Karasuno... oh! That school in Miyagi right?"

"That's the one" Kuroo said. At that moment the doorbell rang and Akaashi answered it, letting the two boys in. The orange haired boy came in smiling brightly, greeting everyone. "You're y/n right? You're amazing! I've seen some of your games" he said happily. You smiled at the boy, he was like a ball of sunshine.
"Thank you Hinata, you play for Karasuno right? I saw you beat Inarizaki 2 years ago, that was really amazing".
He blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ah, I made a lot of silly mistakes that match. I've improved though!"
You giggled at his heart warming demeanour. "Hey why am I being ignored here?" Atsumu fake pouted. You rolled your eyes and smiled at the boy. "Heya Tsumu".

"How ya doin" he asked, flopping down on the couch beside Kuroo.
"I'm good, how about you?" you asked.
He sighed, leaning back into the couch. "My girlfriend broke up with me. Again".
"Weren't you dating Mei?"
He thought about it for a moment. "Mei... Mei.. oh! Yeah, that ended ages ago" he said simply. You rolled your eyes at him and turned your attention to the movie that was playing, snuggling into Sakusa. He put his arm around you until the movie was over.
"I'm hungry" Bokuto whined.

"We have.... a slice of ham and a beer!" Kuroo said triumphantly as he looked through the fridge. "Oh god" Akaashi facepalmed.
"Grocery shopping tomorrow?" you asked.
"Definitely".

"Let's just order pizzas" Sakusa sighed, pulling out his phone to order them.
"I don't get how yall are even alive, you aren't even broke so why?" you laughed.
Bokuto shrugged. "We just never went grocery shopping".

About half an hour later the pizzas arrived and you all digged in, laughing at how Hinata managed to get sauce on his forehead. It was getting late so Atsumu and Hinata left and everyone went to their bedrooms.
You tossed and turned a bit before deciding to go over to Sakusa's room.

You bumped into Bokuto on the way. "Where are you going?" you asked him.
"....akaashi's room" he admitted quietly. You tried to stifle a giggle and he poked your side. "Where are you going???" he asked
"......Omi's room".
You shared a moment of silence before mutually agreeing that never happened and going on with your journeys.

You pushed Sakusa's door open and slid into his bed, wrapping your body around his. "You're cold" he chuckled, adjusting himself to make room for you.
"Shut. It's spring" you yawned.
"This feels so strange but in a good way" he whispered.
"Yeah, I can definitely get used to this" you agreed.
"Wanna go on a run tomorrow? I wanna check out the campus facilities too" you asked.
"It's a plan" he responded.
"Mkay, night Omi. I love you" you mumbled.
"Love you too princess".

A new chapter in your life had just started and little did you know it was about to get turned upside down.
