You entered Sakusa's room, looking around. It was spotless, everything very white. "It's very... white" you finish. "It's easier to spot dirt with white" he said. You nodded, taking a seat on the edge of his bed. "Right, let's start" you said, pulling out your notebook.

After about an hour and a half of working you check the time. 5.40. You stand up, packing your stuff away. "I'm gonna go get ready. Meet me outside mine in 10" you said to Sakusa. He nodded, following you down the stairs. "Oh you're going?" Himari asked. "Yeah, I'm about to go for a jog" you said. "Come back soon y/n" she called as you left.

You walked up the street and quickly changed into sports gear, grabbing your passport and a duffel bag with water, a towel and a spare tracksuit. Walking out the door, you saw Sakusa leaning against the wall in a loose shirt and shorts, a backpack on his back. "Hey stranger" you giggle. You could almost see a small smile on his face and you both started jogging in silence.

After about 20 minutes of jogging you reached the facility and was greeted by the same lady. "I have the age verification with me" you said, handing her your passport. She looked at it, eyes widening in surprise. "America?" she asked. "Yeah I lived there for a while" you explained. She nodded handing the passport back. Sakusa handed her his passport and she accepted it. "You can both head in, here's a locker key" she said, handing you each a key with a number in it.

You found your locker and put your belongings in, taking your water out and bringing it with you. Sakusa did the same and followed you into the gym. There wasn't many people there much to your delight and you picked out a volleyball to use.

"Help me practice spiking" you said to Sakusa and he nodded. "I'll recieve" he said, standing at the other side of the net.

You concentrated on the ball, bouncing it two times before throwing it up, jumping and slamming it down over the net. It really was such an exhilarating feeling, smashing the ball into the other side of the court. It made such a satisfying sound when it hit the ground and you smiled purely.

"That was... pretty good" Sakusa said, refusing to admit it was amazing. He tossed the ball back over and you spiked it again, this time Sakusa dug it up successfully making you scowl. "Again." You ordered, spiking it again and again, only getting the point a few times. After about 30 minutes of this you decided to switch places. You watched Sakusa's serve, the way he threw it up with a spin, the way he planted his feet before jumping, the way his wrist bent flexibly and slammed the ball down forcefully.

The sound the ball made when it connected with the ground made you shudder it was so loud. "That's how a top ace serves" he grinned. You tossed the ball back to him. "Again. I won't stop until I recieve it".

Sakusa served the ball the exact same way 5 times in a row but you couldn't dig it up once. "Again" you said, tossing the ball over.
His serve came once again but this time your eyes followed it, your body reacting quick enough to dig it up, though it hurt like hell it was such an amazing feeling. "I did it!" You exclaimed, cheering excitedly. Sakusa wanted to be annoyed, he really did but when you smiled like that he couldn't help but feel happy himself.

You both practiced blocks and sets until you were informed the place was locking up. You checked the time. 9pm. It was getting pretty dark when you and Sakusa finally left. "That was the best" you sighed in content. Sakusa smiled slightly. "Yeah, it was".

You arrived outside your house. "Night
Omi-kun" you called before heading in. Taking a long shower you marvelled at the bruises forming on your arms. "I received it" you said to yourself, smiling proudly. The pain was nothing compared to the amazing feeling of being able to do something you couldn't before.

The week passed by quickly, you and Sakusa managed to get the project finished before the weekend and would spend the extra time at the gymnasium practicing. You even managed to get successfully block one of Sakusa's spikes which you refused to let him forget about.

It was Saturday and you had just finished cleaning your room since you hadn't for a few days. Your phone pinged and you picked it up.

Get outside already🙄.

You giggled at the conversation and grabbed your face mask, gloves and hand sanitiser putting the gloves on and putting the sanitiser in your jacket pocket.
Leaving your house you spot Sakusa standing by the wall as usual.

"Let's go" he said, and you nodded following him to the train station. "Where are we going?" you asked him. "Gonna buy stuff for your plain ass room" he respinded. You shoved him, giggling. "Okay that's actually not a bad idea". You both grimaced slightly as you got onto the train, since it was packed full of people. You were squished in like a sardine beside a middle aged man and went into a state of panic when he attempted to touch your butt. Luckily, Sakusa pulled you away, glaring at the man until he turned away. "You okay?" he asked you. "U-uh yeah" you reply, flustered at how close you two were. Still, you didn't feel disgusted anymore.
