Soulmates Reunion
It had been almost a year since Mingi went on hiatus, at first he would message daily to the group chat but over time he texted less often. The members were worried but their managers reassured them that Mingi was okay, however they had just received the best text ever from their princess.

Hongjoong sighed and shook his head, trying not to laugh at all the members' responses. He put his phone down and continued on the track he was composing until he heard a gentle knock at the door. "Come in" shouted Hongjoong, eyes still glued to the computer screen. "Hey hyungie, what are you making?" asked the voice as he shut the door behind him. "Oh just some track...Wait" said Hongjoong suddenly recognising the voice and spinning around in his chair, almost giving himself whiplash. "MINGI" said Hongjoong, running up to the younger and engulfing him in a hug. Mingi giggled and wrapped his arms around the elder, squeezing him tightly. "I've missed you hyung" said Mingi, trying not to cry, as he got a sniff of his hyungs cologne that he hadn't smelled in months. "I've missed you more Min, how are you? Are you sure you're ready? You don't need to rush back if you're not ready" said Hongjoong, cupping the younger's face and scanning his features, tears escaping as he registered the fact the younger had returned. "It's okay hyung, I'm ready, I'm sure. But I wanted to see you all individually at first, I don't think I could reunite with you all at once" said Mingi, his eyes welling up as he saw the concern and love on Hongjoongs face. "That's okay, take your time, have you seen any of the others yet?" asked Hongjoong, wiping a tear that escaped Mingis eye. "No, I wanted to see you first," said Mingi, pulling the elder into another hug. "Thank you Mingi, that means a lot" said Hongjoong, going on his tiptoes so he could hold the younger one easier.
After a while the two sat down together, chatting and catching up. After an hour Mingi decided it was time to see the next person. "Jongho is just next door if you'd like to see him next?" suggested Hongjoong, Mingi nodded and Hongjoong took his much larger hand in his as he led him next door. Hongjoong knocked on the door gently before opening it. "There is someone here to see you," said Hongjoong, struggling to contain his smile as Mingi slipped in the room with him. "H-hyung" said Jongho, rushing over to his hyung whose arms were wide open ready for a hug. "Our adorable maknae, I've missed my little teddy bear" said Mingi, holding the younger close and treasuring the rare opportunity. "Are you back? Like properly back?" asked Jongho, trying to wipe away his tears. Mingi nodded and helped wipe them away, with Jongho saying "Aish I'm not crying, just hayfever", making the two rappers laugh. "Of course not, our teddy bear never cries," said Mingi, pulling Jongho into another hug. "Don't think you're having a hug, Mingi only, hugs are still not allowed" said Jongho, as Hongjoong got closer causing them all to laugh again. "Ouch" said Hongjoong, pretending to be hurt by Jonghos words, whilst Mingi smiled at Jonghos affection. After a few minutes and plenty of questions from Jongho, Hongjoong asked who Mingi wanted to visit next. "Woosan are in the dance practice room, Seonghwa hyung is at the dorms, Yeosang hyung is out shopping at the moment and I think Yunho hyung is at an interview thing" said Jongho, filling Mingi in on his options. "Let's go see the trouble makers," said Mingi, making the other two chuckle as they started walking to the dance practice room after collecting their bags.
