CHAPTER ONE.
A FALL FROM GRACE.

" YOU'LL BE FINE"

His reassurances echoed off of the dimly lit room as he studied the girl in front of him calmly. Her blonde straw coloured hair pulled back in a tight ponytail that bobbed up and down oddly as she nodded at his soft words.

The two students were currently standing in the girls bathrooms; a deserted and damp place during the winter months. Students rather sit huddled round a fireplace, talking about the upcoming holidays. So the quietness that seeped through the cracks, wrapping around Augustine comforted him in this very moment; he had always loved the silence, he couldn't stand the useless gossip the students of Beaubaxtons normally engaged in.

" but how can you be so calm when you're going to kill me?" she asked suddenly and very anxiously.  He felt her shake under her school uniform, the blue silk looked so ugly upon her already pale and sickly skin.

He shrugged casually, soothing her shaking frame with his hands, moving them across the silk in slow motions " well . . . It's simple really, I know I can bring you back," he lied with a smile, a smile so sweet that the girl in front of him would think angels had descended from above, giving the boy in front of her a divine right to twist and pull people to do what he wished.

She just stared back confused. Sighing, he ran a hand through his black hair. " merlins beard, if I knew you were this stupid I would've asked Dionne," he muttered out loud tutting disapprovingly, he spun on his heel to look through the tall windows, admiring the view had been one of Augustine's favourite pastimes; the sloped hills, the stables, the tall trees that whispered sweetly into his ears, they would whisper to others, only if they bothered to listen.

" you don't have to be so mean," it came out in a whisper, like she was too scared to say it out loud to him.

He rolled his jaw in response, turning back towards her, his eyes wide and electric, he tilted his head at her as he responded venomously, " don't be so stupid then,"

her bottom lip jutted out just as the tears start to form in her blue eyes, tears fall and he sighed annoyed. Smoothing down his school shirt, he managed to claw back his old facade; the doting boyfriend.

" don't ruin your pretty little face by crying darling," he murmured pitifully, the pads of his thumbs go to her tear stained face. he pulled her face in his hands softly towards him, and planted kisses on her cheeks to stop her from blubbering.

he hated this. he hated her so much.

if he knew that girls were a bunch of pathetic whining little things then maybe he wouldn't have chosen stupid Marina Sinclair.

he would've chosen one of the boys that seemed to think they were August's friend, but unfortunately, every boy knew he wasn't the same as them.

they liked quidditch and girls, he liked killing things and bringing them back from the dead.

well, he liked killing animals and bringing them back from the dead, he'd never done it on a person (albeit an annoying one) before, it was a completely new experience.

this was his first time, first times are always nerve-wracking weren't they?

but he hadn't been exactly truthful about the whole situation to the blubbering girl in front of him, he wasn't going to bring her back at all. he was going to kill her and hope for expulsion.

it was an accident Madame, I've been practicing you see, he'd tell Madame Dupont, their headmistress, he would hate to tell her that it was an accident, his large ego wouldn't be able to take it; as well as she probably wouldn't believe him.
