CHAPTER NINETEEN
BEDRIDDEN

OLIVE OLIVE OLIVE. It was all he could think about. He didn't even remember what he used to think about before Olive occupied his mind.

"Oi! August! Stop daydreaming! Or else I'll knock you out!" Bunny yelled annoyed for the second time that hour.

They were at practice and Olive was becoming a welcome distraction, not that he minded, he loved her after all.

"It's not his fault he's got Olive on the mind, absolutely obsessed with her!" Reinhardt shouted back with a scoff leaving his lips.

Bunny stopped his pacing, "excuse me?" he exclaimed whirling round to stare at the two, a raised eyebrow and a confused look etched upon his square face. August found it funny, seeing Bunny mad, he always carried himself with a passive aggressive aura around him, rather than anger, always accompanied by a smirk, mocking whoever he spoke to.

"He's been going on about her nonstop, telling me he's in love."

August smiled sheepishly, "she's the love of my life." his words dreamy, he couldn't help it, he was in love.

Bunny pulled a face, "are you sure? Didn't even think you swung that way." His tone was disbelieving and August frowned at him madly.

"Of course I love her. She's amazing." He stated now angrily, of course he swung that way, he loved girls.

Bunny looked to Reinhardt, who gave him the same confused look that sat on Bunny's face

"Are you, sure?" Bunny pressed.

August just nodded and they both stared at him weirdly.

"Okay this is odd." Bunny said turning to the rest of the team, " all of you, piss off, I've got an emergency."

Then, he grabbed holt of August and dragged him back to the dormitories.

....

Up the winding stairs, passed the younger years, they entered their shared room. He shoved him hard onto the bed.

Reinhardt came in behind them, crossing his arms.

"What?" August asked simply, wondering why they were acting so weird. "Is it that bad I'm in love?"

"Yes! Because you don't like girls August!" Bunny hissed at him madly, he then shoved Reinhardt hard, "go find brax and Tom,"

Reinhardt nodded quickly before disappearing out of sight.

When it was just August and Bunny, Bunny collapsed next to him onto the bed.

Sighing, Bunny scraped his hand through his short choppy hair, then he turned to August.

"What did she do to you?" He whispered, not expecting August to answer of course, but August did, "I don't know."

"I can't stop thinking about her, is this what love is?" He asked turning to the other boy.

Bunny just smiled at him, his eyes searching for something within August's own. "something like that, yes."

A moment of silence, so dreaded that August tried to stand up to make his mad dash towards the love of his life, which caused a disgruntled Bunny to pull him back down again.
