CHAPTER FIVE
DINNER AND DRAMA

AUGUSTINE TRUDGED UP THE STAIRS AFTER THE OTHER THREE. His hands trailing up the bannister — the wooden texture uncomfortable underneath his hands.

Once they're up onto the landing, Bunny motioned for him to follow.

"this way," he said to Augustine, "you know where your room is right Brax? Reinhardt?"

They both nodded. "ours is there?" Abraxas noted pointing to the door opposite them, across the landing.

"Just the one?" Augustine asked sceptically.

"Mm, we're sharing as well," Bunny explained nodding to the door down the landing. It was the futhest away.

"Why?"

"My brothers and their families are coming so, we don't have enough rooms spare for one each, sorry." Bunny said pinkening.

"It's okay, come on, let's see your room." He said reassuringly, a hand slapped his back softly.

....

When comparing Bunny's room to Augustine's, the main thing you spot was that Bunny's was absolutely full to the brim. Full of trophies and pictures of himself, as well as the large bed planted in the middle of it — vast amount of pillows piling up onto each other, there must've been at least six.

As well as this, there was quidditch memorabilia littered across the walls; posters of different players, smiling at the camera, brooms with signatures sprawled across them.

"Nice room," he said staring around, and then it dawned on him. There was only one bed.

"Is there only one bed in Brax's room and Reinhardts?"

"Yup," Bunny smiled before jumping onto his bed, letting his back hit the mattress. He smiled, "come on, test it out,"

Augustine rolled his eyes and padded over to the bed, collapsing besides Bunny. He let out a sigh. Merlins beard the bed was soft.

He closed his eyes for a moment, breathing outwards, it's like the weight of everything that had happened (Marina, Jasper and maybe Olive) lifted from his bones, hopefully he'd finally get some sleep tonight.

"Ah ah ah, no sleeping yet, we've got dinner with the family first," Bunny said as if reading his mind, the last part he spoke sounded annoyed, which caused Augustine's eyes to flutter open.

"Why? What's wrong with that?"

Bunny scoffed, eyes trained onto the ceiling. "Clarence and Edward are coming with their families soon, so dinners going to be exciting," his tone cold as he spoke.

"Clarence? What a stupid name," Augustine commented noting his tone, "so they went Edward, Clarence and then Edmund, why didn't they just choose another E name? Like Ellis? Edwin maybe?" He added trying to make him feel better.

He didn't know why he was doing this, he should've just let him wallow about in it. But no.

Bunny laughed a little, feeling him loosening up, "they wanted him to be special," and then the coldness to his voice was back.
