CHAPTER FOUR
HENRY ALBRIGHT

THE NEXT MORNING, ABRAXAS SAT BESIDES AUGUSTINE. Normally, this isn't surprising, seeing as the only other option normally is Bunny, as the rest of the knights usually did not come down for breakfast yet, and Abraxas would rather kill himself than sit besides Bunny. So besides Augustine is his usual space.

And normally, he would be rattling on about something dreadfully boring such as the next test for arithmancy.

However, today, he was quiet, and his eyes were focused on the opposite end of the table.

Augustine looked over to where Abraxas was looking to; a blonde girl sitting besides Holly Crawford.

"Bit weird that you're stalking her," Bunny spoke noticing as well. His eyes glittered with something Augustine likes to know as Bunny's vile teasing.

"I am not stalking her,"

"So why are you looking at her then?" Augustine asked, playing along with Bunny.

"I'm planning to ask her to the celestial ball." Abraxas admitted plainly.

Bunny scoffed whilst Augustine almost choked on his saliva, "excuse me?" Augustine asked bewildered.

"Why on earth would you do that?" Augustine added, eyes flicking back between Abraxas and the girl.

"Because, Violet is pretty, and also I'm betrothed to her." Abraxas admitted.

This time Bunny choked on his drink he was currently nursing. "Fuck off!" He said after a few seconds of coughing.

"Already?" Augustine asked amazed, most purebloods were to be betrothed in their final year at school. Mainly to whoever their family deemed suitable enough to marry. Augustine wondered who his family would set him up with, maybe it would be some pureblood girl from Germany, or maybe even France.

"Yes, my mother told me in her latest letter," Abraxas explained halfheartedly as he spooned his cereal, letting the crumbs fall back into the pool of milk, repeating the action over again.

"But you don't want her," Augustine said, looking at his expression.

Abraxas sat upwards, "of course I do! It's just . . . Not yet."

Abraxas' eyes drifted to the other end of the hall as Reinhardt walked in along with Tom, Flick and Theo.

Reinhardt, Augustine realised, would it kill Reinhardt to know this? Or did he already know?

Reinhardt came and slid into the seat besides Abraxas and gave the rest of them a smile, "morning," he said, "do we have Bimns after breakfast?"

Bunny snorted, "don't you read your timetable?"

"No, it disappeared the moment we started," a sly smile spread across Reinhardts face. He was always losing something, and it didn't exactly surprise Augustine in the slightest that he'd lost his timetable.

"Bit hypocritical coming from you Bun," Theo said as he sat down besides Bunny, with Flick following.

Flick drummed her pale hands onto the table once Tom took his place besides Augustine. "So, do we all have dates ready for the big ball?"

Theo smiled and wrapped an arm around her, letting her nuzzle into him, it earned them a gagging sound from Bunny.

"No," Reinhardt said, "I'm boycotting it."

"Just because you can't get a date," Theo replied snidely.

"No, actually, I can get a date thank you very much I just don't want one!" Reinhardt exclaimed madly.

Bunny snorted, "well have fun with that, me on the other hand, I have two."

"Why the fuck do you have two for?" Abraxas asked, his eyes finally tearing away from where Violet was sitting to stare at Bunny in wonder.

Bunny shrugged, "because I couldn't decide which I liked more, Sarah is gorgeous, but Cherry's body is better," he said lewdly.

Augustine scrunched up his nose, "Sarah? As in Olive's friend?"

He nodded in response before taking a bite of his toast, causing crumbs to fall from his mouth and down his white shirt.

He knew who Cherry was, she was in the year below, a Gryffindor with a bubbly personality, but little else was going for her. She was what people would call an air head, or as Augustine thought; stupid.

"Yeah? She might not talk much but she doesn't need to you know? Her mouth is better for other things if you know what I mean. ."

Augustine screwed up his face and turned away from Bunny's lewd remarks in favour of looking towards the doors.

The great hall doors opened only a moment later, revealing Juno and her blonde hair swishing behind her in a high ponytail. He smiled the moment he caught sight of her, stupidly.

That's until a boy followed closely along behind her; dark hair, tall and with grey eyes. He was wearing a Ravenclaw jersey, a frown broke out onto Augustine's face.

"Who's that?" He asked, nudging Abraxas in the ribs roughly.

"ow! Who? Oh Henry? That's Henry Albright,"

"Who's Henry Albright?"

....

Bunny had his arm slung around Augustine's neck, bringing him down to Bunnys height. He'd asked Bunny to tell him everything he knew about Henry.

"Let's talk about Henry shall we? Well where can we start?" Bunny muttered to himself quickly, Augustine could see the cogs in his brain turning, before gasping, "easy! Henry is another version of you."

"What?" Augustine asked, stopping in his tracks, they were on their way to divination, but Professor Devorey would be fine without her star pupil for a moment.

"Henry does necromancy on the side apparently," Bunny explained, "Tom was gonna ask him to join the Knights but then you entered the picture."

Augustine stared at Bunny, "what's he like? Is he nice?"

Bunny shrugged, "sometimes, but he's similar to Tom, all silent like, you know what I mean?"

He nodded in response, but his mind was whirling. "And why is he so friendly with Juno?"

A smirk spread across Bunny's face, "didn't realise you swung that way,"

"Shut up," Augustine sneered, crossing his arms over his chest angrily. He hadn't realised how much he actually liked Juno until Henry came along to show him.

All he knew was that he didn't like Henry, he didn't like him hanging around Juno, nor did he like to think that Henry could be his replacement, for Juno, and for Tom.

He knew another thing as well; Henry had to go.
