Obsession 17

Angel's POV

I tried to compose myself as much as i could as i closed the door before turning to face her.
 
She is just right there, sitting while scanning me.

After her birthday, I never heard anything from them.

"Good morning, ma'am." I managed to smile at her, not letting her notice my nervousness. I didn't even expect her to greet me back.

She stood up from the swivel, and in a second, she was right in front of me with her brows furrowed. She started comtemplateting me.  

"I am not here for any chit-chats." She started. She started to walk around me, slowly.

I looked down because I could not take the way she looked at me.

"How did even my son like you?" She scanned me from head to toe and then winced as if she was looking into the most disgusting creature.

Hindi ako nakasagot. I know from the beginning that she doesn't like me and that she will not accept me for his son.

"But anyway, straight to the point, I don't want you for my son. He is too good for someone like you. He doesn't deserve to be with a hoe! I know you just want his money, right? Did you seduced him? I bet you offered him yourself to trap him? Ahuh, I know your types bitch." She is angry. She was gritting her teeth, showing me how angry she was.

I am very hurt with all the words she was throwing on me even i know, none of it was true.

"How much do you want, Angel? I can give you that. Just leave my son alone. How much, huh? 10 million? 20 million-" I immediately cut her off. That was unacceptable. Her accused was too much.

I am not like that. 

Akala ko ay sa TV ko lang mapapanpod ang ganitong pangyayari, hindi ko aakalaing isang araw ay ako mararanasan ko din to.

"I'm so sorry, but i am not interested in the money. I really love your son, ma'am. I don't want any penny from him." I tried so hard to stop my tears from falling, but i failed. Tumulo na ito bago ko pa mapigilan.

"You love him? Really, huh? I know what's in your mind, woman. Inaakit mo ang anak ko dahil sa pera niya! You are seducing my son! You are using your body to rule him! Magsasawa din ang anak ko sayo at kapag nangyari iyon, magiging basura ka din kagaya ng ibang mga babae niya!" She burst while pointing me. She was really angry.

But her words. No. That's not true. Hindi yan mangyayari. Zhan loves me. He always reminds me of that. His mother is lying.

"Ma'am, I have no other intention on Zhan, I just love him and nothing more. We love each other. " I said while sobbing. I can't take her words.

"No intention, huh! Kung ang anak ko napapa ikot mo, ako hindi. To tell you this again, magsasawa din sayo si Zhan! Tandaan mo yan!" She smirked evily. "How many rich men passed through you before you ended up with my son? You can't survive your life, and that is why you are approaching wealthy man?" She said while grinning.

"They didn't give you enough money, so when you got the chance, you did everything just to get Zhan, and now you are telling me that you two love each other? Nonsense!"

Why is she doing this? Does she hate me that much? Hindi niya pa ako kilala ng mabuti pero hinusgahan niya agad ako.

I kept on shooking my head.

None of her words were true.

I wiped my tears using the back of my hand and gathered all my courage to face her.
