While the blue eyed woman is chatting with Shirahoshi happily about the certain someone, Luffy finally got a chance to talk to his little brothers about Whitebeard's invitation.
Ace seems to be complaining the most, wanting to be a pirate by his own, Sabo is also protested but having a thoughtful look and Law looks interested a little.
The reaper knew that they wanted to achieve their dreams and he does supported them but he also wanted them to learn the experience about the pirate's life.
Being a pirate is a difficult challenge once they begin their journey. They also need to experience the fight once they are battling against the other pirates who intrude them.
It's like a test to see whenever they're strong or not. He also knew that Whitebeard is considered as the World Strongest Man with a force nature due to his quirk, he have millions of allies and commanders including the first commander AKA the First Mate.
He's paranoid but his brotherly instincts urged him to accepts the offer and have his brothers learn how to be a pirates once they are old enough.
However there is also part of him hesitant about it. He knew that once he take a step on board, there's no turning back. He never thought about becoming a pirate before because it never came to his mind.
He's not really know very well to his own emotions but he could tell that he's nervous and little scared.
He's scared that his brothers will get captured and turn to slaves. He's scared that they will witness of people's lives been taking in front of them and there are so many that he lost counts.
But he can't stopped them because they always wanted to be one. He wanted to give them freedom unlike him who's been caged for long time before his death.
"... Think of it as a lesson," Luffy speaks out, drawing their attention to him. "All of you wanted to be a pirates yes? Then we just need to learn how to become one since we still have lots of time to prepare."
Ace and Sabo perked up. Their brother does have a point. All those complaining turn into a murmuring of excitiment and curious while Law is unsure about the decision.
Of course the immortal noticed and quickly reassured him. "We don't have to completely join them as their crews and like I said before, we got lot of times to think about it and who knows? Maybe one of the commanders can teach you how to be a surgeon."
Law seems to be relaxed a little and nodded. He's sometimes not used to relay on people but his big brother always trying his best to explain carefully and it makes him feel a little warm to know that he's looking out for them.
"Aniki?"
"Yes Ace?"
"Does that mean we can still be captains when we grow up?" He asked.
Luffy thought for moment. Whitebeard isn't like any pirates he's encountered and he knows that the emperor's dream is to have a family.
He doesn't know much about him since the reaper tend to get busy collecting souls, collecting berries from bounties and travelling around.
"I will have a talk with the captain to see if he's okay with it," Luffy sent them a soft smile from his eyes. "In the meantime, what's your decision?"
"Well... It does sound cool to learn from them," Ace scratched the back of his head. "But I don't wanted to join their crew."
"Fair enough," the man hums. "Sabo?"
"I'm with Ace," the blond one nodded. "As much as I wanted to see the whole world with them I want to explored like you Lu and when I gathering my own crew, I need to learn how to be a captain."
"Law?"
"It sounds interesting and I can trained my devil fruit a lot more if they allowed me. I can also learn more from doctors and books before I could start my journey."
