"... Neptune?"

"Yes?"

"... I'm appreciate your kindness for taking me out for a walk but... isn't this gone over board?"

Luffy stared blankly at the box filling up with 20 different colours of ice cream with chocolate fudge and rainbow sprinkles. Neptune is carrying a cone with two dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream, adding with the same fudge and same sprinkles.

"Nonsense!" Neptune said with smile. "This is my treat for you and you need to eat more than just small amount of food you're eating!"

Luffy let out a quiet breath, shook his head as he expecting this and give it a long lick on the first one.

"It's feel just like old times when I giving you a tour around," the king smiles, watching his people doing their own business. He nodded at some who bow their heads respectfully and waves to the children who waved back.

"Along with women who adored you back then," Luffy chuckles quietly, remember how they swooned at the sight of him.

"Ha! Good old days," the king laughed, taking their seats by the rocks where they watched the bubbles floating upward. He cast a glance, his smile widened to see his friend relaxing and leaning against the rock. His shoulders are no longer slumped and his eyes is now lighten up like they used to.

He mentally pat himself on the back.

Luffy absently scoop his ice cream while staring at the bubbles, tension washed away at the quiet and peaceful atmosphere surrounding them.

'Wonder what Ace and Sabo are doing...?' He thoughts silently until he remember something.

Suddenly he's anxious and confused. Noticing his friend's sudden mood, Neptune finished off his last bite and looked at him.

"Is there something's the matter?" He asked slowly, knowing the reaper would refused to say it but it's ridiculous for Luffy to saying not wanting to burden but he wanted to.

Neptune wanted to share the burden with him and like Jimbei, there's no way he's going to let Luffy suffered for so long. But he have a feeling that it's something else.

The reaper hesitated at first before sighed and stirred his melting ice cream. "... I need your help with something," he finally said.

"What is it?"

"It's about captain Whitebeard of the Whitebeard pirates," Luffy continued. "He asked me something that I might need your suggestion."

"What did he say?" Neptune narrowed his eyes a little, his protective nature are stirring inside of him and he's curious on what the captain said to him.

"... He asked me if I want to join his crew with my brothers," the reaper said after few moment of silence and Neptune bulged his eyes out.

"...What?!"

"So good!" Sabo swallowing a piece of ice cream, melted at the delicious taste of strawberry flavor with Shirahoshi swooned at the chocolate taste she's having.

"Tasty!" She said adorably, holding hands with one of her brothers. Ace is licking rapidly and comically at the four cup of three scoops of ice cream each causing the owner of the ice cream shop sweatdropped and awed at the amount of him eating.

Are humans actually eat like that?

"Slow down Ace or you'll get brain freeze," one of the brothers suggested with amused look.

"I'll be all right," the boy swallowed a mouthful of ice cream and turn to second cup. Then his face shrink as if he's swallowing something sour and his body shivered. "OW!"

Sabo sighed at his brother's antic and shook his head. Typical Ace, always digging up before ended up choking and brain freeze is a first so it's a plus.
