Luffy is humming quietly as he preparing the bottle while keeping an eye on the baby who's gurgling and playing with colourful blocks by the open living room.

"Ah! Ah!" Ace cries then pout that he didn't get his brother's attention. Not liking this, he crawled toward him and fell on his face at the ground after one of his hands accidently push one of the blocks.

Whimpers, tears pooling out and he wailed gaining the immortal's attention.

"Ace," Luffy breathes, put the full bottle and walked toward him but halted when the baby shakily on his legs and hands balanced himself.

Feeling his breaths hitched and not knowing those emotions pretty well, he found himself sit on his knees and watched silently with his hands hesitately spread wide open.

He don't know why but his body move on its own and he's a bit curious on what will happen next.

As a Reaper and immortal, he never thought that for the first time, he get to see how humans raised their loved ones.

The baby noticed this and felt the determination run over him as he clumsily stand on his legs completely. With cute pout - probably meant to be scowl, Luffy thinks - he take his left foot on front with another followed.

Feeling the sense of pride, he sent him an eyes-smile to show how proud he is.

Ace gurgles happily after seeing his happy 'face', he clumsily walked toward him again with his arms stretched out.

He's halfway reaching toward his brother when he tripped and fell on front hardly. Lifting his now reddened face, he wailed with fat tears falling and Luffy rushed toward him.

"Sshh... Shh..." he hushed him gently, cradling Ace in his arms with one of his hands patted his back and face buried on his chest. "I'm here... Sshh... It's all right."

He lifted his hand, lone finger through his mask and pull it down to reveal his small smile. Ace sobbed, slowly quiet down after seeing his face and reached out his hand to wander.

Luffy give him a rare wide smile with soft and gentle, he hummed quietly as he rocked back and forth.

Wordlessly, the tentacles burst out from his back and grabbed the bottle.

He grabbed with his hand and carefully let Ace drinking the milk with enthusiasm.

Luffy sighs with small fond smile, eyes closed and mask on. Beside him, Ace is blushing and Sabo is grinning amusedly yet bit of envious.

"Gurarararara!"

"Oh man," Thatch's voice can be heard. "We didn't even get a chance to see Luffy's face!" The murmurs of agreedment reaches to their ears, obviously wanting to see his face as well.

"Grandpa is probably the one who recording it," Luffy hummed, remember that Garp came back that day from overworking.

"Shitty gramps," grumbles the blushing Ace, crossing his arms. Sabo grinned wide more. "At least you're adorable as a baby back then," he teased.

"Fuck off Sabo!"

"How did you managed to get your hands on those recording?" The immortal asked, ignoring the fight between the raven and blond.

The crowd are cheered for them with some are placing bets on who win.

"Gurararara!" Whitebeard laughed, gulping his beer. "You could say that Garp and I are old drinking buddies, share stories and so."

"Sounds a bit like him."

The recording is one of the most memories and happiest day of Ace's first walking toward his brother, Luffy.
