Lizzy's POV

"You're late" she folds her arms after opening the door for me, I roll my eyes

"I'm not. I factored in time for picking you up some snacks because you seem..." I raise my shoulders.. I need to keep her cool. "antsy."

"That's very sweet. I'm sorry I'm antsy it's just.. a lot."

"I understand baby" I kiss her cheek "I got you donuts. The pink ones you like" I give them to her, she smiles

"Thank you. We can share" she kisses my lips "you can help me pack."

"Awesome.." I mumble, shutting the door behind myself.

She's all worked up about leaving. It isn't just the packing that's bothering her, it's leaving me and her friends too. I can tell because of how often we talk about it.

But she's silly - we're only going to be apart for two weeks. It's gonna be hard but doable, we can still text and FaceTime. And we can always come back here for whatever reason.

"What are we packing today, baby?" I ask, following her

"My bedroom." She leads me upstairs

"Damn.. so soon?"

"I leave next week, Lizzy.. If I left it any later I'd run out of time." She opens her bedroom door for me, I smile

"You're cute all on edge.." I tell her, she rolls her eyes a little

"I hope you're going to stay on task.."

"I am. I'll be the best help you've ever had" I say, I know it's what she wants to hear. She smiles

"Yes. And best girlfriend.." she wraps her arms around my neck, so I let my hands find her hips "thank you for coming to help"

"You'd do the same for me.. And I take any excuse to be with you. So really the pleasure's all mine."

"Mmh, you aren't here for pleasure" she kisses my lips, then lets go of me

"How exciting.." I mumble, she smiles

"I'll ignore that. You're going to organise for me.."

She shows me what to do, and how to do it exactly how she wants it to be done. We took a break to eat, drink, and talk. But then we got right back to it.

There's a lot to do but she's doing it in waves, she's very very prepared and it'll get done in no time. I think we've sort of finished all she wants to get done for today, which is good because I can take her out, but bad because I love watching her concentrate. It's very cute.

"Are we finished?" I ask, she nods a little

"For now."

"Good job baby" I give her a little praise, she smirks

"You're being cute"

"Don't call me that" I say, she pouts in fake sympathy

"I apologise. I'm all yours for the rest of the day, what would you like to do?"

"I don't know baby, it's up to you." I say without thinking, then remember she doesn't like to decide. "We could go get some late morning breakfast" I suggest, she laughs a little

"We've already eaten"

"Late morning means anything goes" I smile "we could go to the ice cream place you like, on me." I can tell she isn't won over. I think she's sad about leaving. "Okay okay, how about we get ice cream and visit all the places we like whilst we're still here?"
