she was upset. he knew that. the flicker in her usually bright teal eyes was gone, leaving her eyes hollow as if you could see through them. the happy tone in her voice was gone and her face dull and melancholy. unless you were stupid, it was easy to tell that biana vacker was not the same; and for an obvious reason.

tam would react the same if anything happened to linh. no matter how annoying she could be, she was his sister. and he'd do anything to benefit and protect her.


on the third day, tam knew that he had to do something. he wasn't exactly sure on what he was planning to do — he just wanted her smile back.


"biana."


tam's voice echoed throughout the room, startling the brunette who immediately shot up out of shock. once she saw who it was, she hurriedly rubbed her eyes, trying to wipe the tears before he could notice, but it was too late. He had already made his way towards her, and without any sound, grabbed her hand and squeezed it softly.

he couldn't possible imagine exactly how the girl was feeling but he too had gone through something similar and though he wasn't sure what to do, he would try. For her, he would do anything no matter the cost.

"hey," he attempted to make a sentence, his words slightly messy and rushed. "i'm...not that good at this, you've probably noticed that," he admitted quietly, tracing circles on the back of her palm. "but I'm sorry. and i'll do whatever I can to make you happy again." a small smile lifted her lips as she leaned over, a light kiss being placed on his forehead.

"and that's more then enough."
