Jon and Sansa stood in the Godswood , Robb had walked his mother down the aisle and had given her hand into his father's hand . Sansa felt better than she had in months and had the energy to stand . They exchanged their vows . They both had tears running down their faces . Jon lifted Sansa's veil and planted the most reverent kiss on her forehead . The guests clapped and whistled . It was a sweet resolution to a love that had been unrequited for decades . It was the culmination of a dream for both Jon and Sansa .
Robb looked at his parents . They were finally married . He was truly happy for his mother . He had accepted that his father did love Sansa . There was acceptance that Jon had made mistakes but the love he had for Sansa and Robb was undeniable .
Robb gave his blessings to the newly married couple . Joanna smiled sweetly at her husband as he finally seemed to accept his father and let go of his resentment towards Jon .
Jon and Sansa joyously left the Godswood as a newly married couple to live the rest of their days on earth as one .
