"It's a collection." Byron starts, opening the door to his room.
"Of what? Dead stuff?" Ryan asks.
"Relics of war." Byron corrects, dragging a chest out from under a table.
The Doctor takes out her sonic, scanning the room.
"From my travels. Reminders that we tread on the dust of empires-" He starts again, cut off by Missy.
"Oh cut it." She rolls her eyes.
"Waterloo." The Doctor gasps, seeing some old hat and putting it on her head. "Oh, I love a good plume." She exclaims. "What do you think?"
You smirk a little, watching as Ryan and Byron lift the chest and put it on the table.
"A 15th-century soldier from the Battle of Morat. His final remains." Byron opens the chest to a collection of bones.
"One hand gone." Yaz gasps.
"No, both hands gone." The Doctor corrects, placing a hand on her shoulder as she scans the bones.
"Great. Another on the loose." Missy says with a tone of sarcasm.
"Anything else strange happen since you've been here?" Yaz asks.
"When the weather turned, Shelley started having visions." Mary answers.
"He's prone to them." Claire adds.
"What did he see?" You ask curiously, hoping you weren't the only one.
Wait... I know this house!
I saw it in my dream last night...
What else?
Think. Think.
A metal robot...
The lone cyber man? Yes.
And the red-orange planet.
"Dear?" You hear Missy say, placing a hand on your shoulder.
"Hm?" You snap out of your thoughts, turning to face her.
"You spaced out again."
"Just... thinking." You mumble, pulling away. "Where'd everyone go?" You ask, only seeing Byron, The Doctor, Claire, and Missy.
"Went to have a chat with Shelley, see if they could find him." The Doctor asks, her face turning from one of curiosity to concern. "Didn't you see them leave?"
"I... got distracted." You shrug, wandering from the table to the fireplace, trying to avoid their face.
"What reanimates bones and leaves no trace? Why just the hands? Why only parts?" You hear the Doctor say, her footsteps pacing the room.
"However, my collections not demonic?" Byron asks.
"Correct." You hear her place something on the table. "But I'll probably come back for this, though. Strictly for, er, safety purposes. Not because it really suits me or anything." She rambles.
"Doctor! Focus!" Missy exclaims. You hear her footsteps getting closer.
"The vibe you mentioned. Is it still there?" Claire asks.
"Yeah. I can't... It's like it won't let me think." She explains. "I need to get out of this house."
"Hey." Missy says, standing behind you. "Let's get out of here."
"Easier said than done, apparently." You turn your head, seeing the Doctor, Byron, and Claire coming back in, and then immediately running out... and back in.
