A/n: Mild panic attack, thoughts of death. Both indicated with *
You step into the counsel room in some dry clothes, a content smile still on your face. It's a comforting feeling, like wrapping up in a fuzzy blanket.
"Any requests?" The Doctor jumps out from behind a screen, "we could go to the triple star system, oh! Or the blue planet, everything is a shade of blue!" She offers, a new level of excitement at each idea.
"Actually..." Izzy slowly steps out from leaning on a railing, "I want to go back to Graham and Ryan."
Looks are exchanged between the Doctor, Yaz, and Izzy. A small silence expands, a new energy taking over the room.
"Yeah, that's okay." The blondes face falls.
"Not permanently, maybe just a few weeks."
"It's alright, we get it. Traveling is a lot." Yaz comforts, coming to stand beside her.
Everyone silently stands by, grabbing onto the railing as the TARDIS de-materializes. An aura of sadness surrounds you all.
You don't really know how to feel. You are sad she's leaving, yet a little proud she's becoming her own person, making her own decisions.
As the TARDIS lands, the Doctor and Yaz wrap her in a hug, silent tears exchanged.
"Bye sis." Izzy waves, "and Missy."
Missy gives her a small nod of acknowledgement, leaned against a wall with her arms folded.
"Yep, definitely back." The Doctor sighs, peeking out one of the doors.
"Think we could chat with Graham and Ryan for a bit?" Yaz asks, reaching for the Doctors hand.
"Yeah, a cuppa would be good." The blonde smiles, appearing a little more relaxed.
The two follow Izzy out the door, leaving you to follow. Before you can even fully turn, the doors slam, followed by the wheezing sound of de-materialization.
"Missy?" You ask, your back to the counsel.
You really, really hope it's her.
"Looks like we're taking a little trip." You turn, seeing her on the opposite side of the room. "TARDIS said it isn't her." She shrugs, still looking quite relaxed.
"Where?"
"I don't know everything." She protests, walking up to a screen. "Looks like our flight is- oh now that can't be good."
*You clench your fists, your whole body slightly shaking.
Try and focus on the positives?
Your mind suggests.
Not alone.
With someone who knows how to pilot.
And has some experience with aliens.
Negatives.
Another part of your mind demands.
Getting kidnapped. Possibly by killer-aliens.
Your breathing goes slightly short, leading to much more frequent, much shallower breaths.
*"Hey love." Two hands on your shoulder. "In and out." Your eyes meet. "Whoever these aliens are, they'll drop dead before they lay a finger on either of us." She softly says.
"Okay." You exhale, slightly laughing.
The TARDIS slightly shakes, letting you both know you've landed. She takes your hand, approaching the door.
