Starting Over

Chapter 5

"Shes moving," Gabriel noticed.

"Shes fighting to wake up," Sean said softly. "Talk to her. The medicine will make it hard for her to wake up normally."

"Come back to us Baby," a deep voice pierced the darkness. "We found you Baby, were here for you, come back to us Baby."

Im trying but its so dark.

"Were right here Aggele Mou," another voice poked through.

"We arent going anywhere Cupcake," another voice pokes through.

"You are stuck with us forever now Princess," another voice pokes.

"Come on Darling, keep fighting," another voice pokes through.

Its still so dark but Ill try.

"We found you Peanut, no more hiding," another voice pierced through.

"Come on Ten, its time for you to wake up," another voice pokes into the darkness.

"Time to wake up Trouble, I have to fix this mess of hair you got going on," another voice pokes through.

"Hey there Pookie, I need you to open your beautiful chocolate eyes," another voice rips through the darkness. Their voices pushed away the darkness slowly.

Open my eyes? My eyes are open I thought. Ill try though.

"There you are Pookie," Sean smiled softly as he helped her sit up slowly.

"Easy Baby," North whispered shifting her so he was sitting behind her so she could rest against him.

Marie looked around and saw that all of them were beside her and touching her in some way. "What?" she whispered realizing she was back in her room at the Blackbourne mansion. A burning sensation started forming on her wrists and she looked down to see the bandages. Memories flooded her mind and she burst into tears.

"Its okay Baby," North whispered turning her so she was facing him. She wrapped her legs around his waist and hid her face in the crook of his neck. She felt different hands rubbing her back trying to help calm her down. "Its okay Baby, its okay. Were here and not going anywhere. We found you and brought you home where you belong Baby. Its okay, Baby," he whispered softly.

"You found me," she whispered clutching him even tighter.

"Of course, Baby, I told you we would," he whispered rubbing her back.

"Im so sorry," she sobbed, and he hugged her even tighter.

"Its okay Baby, its okay," he whispered as he began to rock her.

"Other than being overwhelmed, how are you feeling Pookie?" Sean asked concerned.

She mumbled something and North nodded while rubbing her back. "She said her wrists burn and chest hurts and lower burns," North said.

"Okay, Pookie I need to look and make sure everything is okay?" Sean asked and she tensed up.

"Darling, its okay, were here and arent going anywhere," Owen whispered kissing the top of her head. "Do you want us to stay or step out?"

"I dont want you to see," Marie whispered, "But if I cant see you, Ill wake up and leave this dream. Ill be all alone again even though its a bad dream Im just glad I have all of you back."

"Oy trouble, you were fucking naked when we found you, weve already seen everything," Gabriel shook his head while squeezing her hand softly.

"This isnt a dream Peanut, were really here," Nathan said kissing her head.

"Aggele Mou" Silas said kneeling down to look at her eyes. "Do you trust your Superman?" she briefly nodded and he smiled softly. "Close your eyes for me," she tensed then took a deep breath and shakingly let it out. "Now open them for me," he said softly. She opened her eyes and he smiled as she smiled softly. "Still here Aggele Mou."

"Thank you Superman," she whispered and he nodded and kissed her forehead.

"What do you want Darling?" Owen asked softly running his fingers through her hair, "Do you want us to stay or do I need to have Mr. Korba and Mr. Griffin drag Mr. Taylor Jr out of here fighting?"

"Fuck that, Im staying either way," North grumbled, "She needs me."

"I need all of you," Marie whispered. "I dont want to do this North Star," she burst into tears again and clutched his shirt tightly. "I want to take a shower and get his touch off me. I can still feel him touching me, make it stop North Star please make it stop."

"Oh Baby, I wish I could," he sighed sadly.

"Stop Aggele Mou," Silas whispered taking her hands in his once he realized she was starting to scratch herself.

"I already did the kit Pookie, I just need to see if any wounds opened up and then North and Gabriel can help you take a shower okay?" Sean asked softly and she nodded.

"Its okay Baby were here," North whispers kissing her head.

Sean explained everything he was doing before he did something so she knew what was happening as he took care of all the wounds. After putting waterproof bandages on all her cuts, Gabriel started the shower. North and Gabriel stripped while she stepped into the warm water.

As the water tried to relax her muscles she closed her eyes but memories flooded her mind. She started washing off his touch but she could still feel him. "Stop Baby," North said taking the loofah from her, "Youre hurting yourself."

"I can still feel him," she sobbed as he laced his fingers with hers.

"Hes not here Trouble," Gabriel whispered softly washing her back. "Ill wash him away."

"Im so sorry," she sobbed as another dam broke within her.

"Look at me Trouble," Gabriel said taking her face into his hands. "You did nothing wrong, do you hear me?" she nodded while North wrapped his arms around her softly to try and keep her grounded. "You did nothing wrong, Trouble. You fought back and everyone is so damn proud of you for what you did to that asshole."

"But I broke my promise," she cried.

"No, you didnt," North said trying not to cry watching his baby break down again. "You called me, didnt you?" she nodded. "You promised you wouldnt do it and hide it from me, and you didnt. You called me after you did. Have you done it since you left?" She shook her head, "then you havent broken your promise to me. Yes, you hurt yourself but considering what happened to you its understandable and you called me to help afterwards. You didnt break your promise to me Baby. Do I wish you were home under different circumstances? Yes, but Im just glad you are home where you belong. You arent leaving again, do you understand? You are ours and you arent leaving again."

Gabriel chuckled, "Yeah Trouble, Mr. B said youre grounded forever."

Marie burst into laughter and they smiled at one another, it was the best sound in the world to them.
