Starting Over

Chapter 16

Owen took the USB and plugged it into her laptop. Numerous folders popped up labeled what everyone was doing while she was gone. Others were her stories she was working on, and others were photos she took of them from a distance.

"What am I looking for Darling?" Owen muttered to himself as he stared at over 30 folders. Knowing her there were sub folders inside of sub folders. Spotting one that was TSO amid other sub folders that were of photos, so it didnt really make sense to have a music folder with them. Clicking on it made him smile softly because he was the one that introduced her to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. There were downloads of their songs then he noticed a PDF in the folder as well. Clicking on the PDF he smirked. Their girl was so smart. At first glance someone would think that the PDF was various song lyrics and while that was partly true, there was also information on the house and land amid the groups of song lyrics as well. Printing it off and making copies he closed everything and put the necklace back with her jewelry. Going to his office he gathered the copies of the information and gathered everyone back into the living room.

He passed everyone their copy and asked, "What do you see?"

"TSO lyrics," Raven muttered.

"Wait a minute," Corey paused and sat up more. "She put the information in with the song lyrics."

"I cant even find this place when I search for it," Victor muttered looking at the printed-out information and his laptop.

"Thats because I made sure to erase all evidence of it," Marie muttered coming into the room. "You would have to know about it to find it." She walked over to Owen and curled up into his lap. "You found it quicker than I thought you would, but I knew you would find it."

"What are you doing awake? You certainly made it challenging Darling," He gave her his millimeter smile and pushed her hair out of her face. "If you hadnt told Dr. Green the hint, I most definitely wouldnt have found it by now."

"Luke taught you well to hide things in plain sight," Corey nodded.

"We used to play a game of hiding something in plain sight to see how long it would take," Luke beamed. "Glad to see it stuck with you."

"I had a nightmare. Can we go see it, my Owen?" Marie barely whispered. "I love this place, but I dont feel safe anymore Im sorry. I know you built this place for the family never mind."

"Dont Darling," Owen said pulling her closer to him. "I already told Mr. Coleman and Mr. Lee to start figuring out how to pack everything and both Mr. Taylors, Mr. Griffin, and Mr. Korba were making lists of things we would possibly need to do to fix the place up after we looked at it. The moment you were attacked on this ground I told Dr. Green we were moving. I wont risk it happening again. You just solved it before I could figure everything out."

"Really?" She asked sitting up looking at him shocked.

"Of course, Pookie," Sean smiled softly. "We would do whatever we need to keep you safe and keep you with us. You are our one Love."

"Thank you, Dr. Sean," Marie smiled as a few tears slipped free. She leaned over and kissed him softly then pulled back to Owen and kissed him softly.

"Hey what about my kiss?" Luke pouted and she burst out laughing. "Theres that beautiful sound I missed."

"Come here My Always," She smiled, "Im too comfy in my Owens lap." Everyone from the Blackbourne team lined up and got their kiss from her.

"Darling, how do you feeling about the Toma team moving in with us?" Owen asked.
