Starting Over

Chapter 18

"This is the best Trouble!" Gabriel beamed as he descended the stairs as everyone came inside. "I mean some things have to be repaired but overall its fucking amazing! I have so many ideas!"

"Great, I trust you to make it home," she smiled as he picked her up and swung her around.

"Get us a list and well head to the store," Nathan said.

"Oh Prince, this would be perfect spot for your piano," Marie whispered as she entered a room that almost was like a ballroom. "And for Owen to play also."

"Thats what I was thinking also," Gabriel said coming in, "And the room next door will be perfect for an art studio, theres a whole wall of glass! Itll be a pain in the ass to clean but just think of all the natural light that will come through."

"Oh, that sounds wonderful!" she smiled.

They spent the rest of the day going from room to room making plans and coming up with ideas for the house. Victor and Luke came up with a plan for security and Corey put his input also.

Owen and Sean followed her out to the garden and she sat down by the water fountain, "What is on your minds? I can tell something is bothering you."

"What do you think about the Toma team Pookie?" Sean asked and she sighed.

She watched the water for a little bit and then sighed again, "I dont honestly know. I mean, I know they are your close friends thats why you called them in the first place but I dont know if I can trust them, I mean you heard what Mr. Toma said even after you already told him what happened. I know he asked for forgiveness and I gave it to him but I cant help but wonder if he said it just to appease you and what if he really thinks that Im going to hurt you again or even worse what if they think that Im a slut for loving all of you? I want to trust them but I dont know if I can just yet."

"I understand," Owen nodded as he rubbed her back. "Do you think by having them living here it will help them see and understand our relationship?"

"Maybe?" she shrugged. "But wouldnt it also be kind of forcing them to look into it?"

"What if we just give them the option?" Sean asked. "They can have rooms here but if they want to leave they can also."

"Can we trust them to not reveal this place?" she asked and Owen nodded.

"I trust them on that," he said and she nodded.

"Okay My Owen, I trust you," she yawned.

"Ready for a nap and rest?" Sean asked and she nodded.

Owen carried her back into the living room and said, "Time to go, Darling needs to rest."

"We will meet you back there, we are going to store and price everything we need and can get started tomorrow after our jobs," North said.

"I can get everything I fucking need online so I can do the shopping whenever and Trouble needs to fucking help me so we can make it perfect for us," Gabe shrugged.

"It can wait for now, Princess needs her rest," Victor said following them back to the cars.

Back at the Blackbourne house, Silas carried her upstairs and they took the opportunity to have a meeting with the Toma team so he quickly hurried back downstairs.

"We need to make this quick, she wont sleep long without two of us being there for her," North said growling not wanting this meeting at all.

"Look we all know you are starting to have feelings for her," Luke sighed.

"But we dont think she will have feelings for you after the way you threw the past in her face so rudely," Kota nodded. "It wasnt even her fault and yet you spoke to her like that."

"I have apologized and tried to show her I truly mean it, what else can I do?" Axel asked.

"Move on and find your own bird," North muttered.

"We spoke to her at the house," Sean said, "about you living there."

"She is still unsure about trusting you, she fears you think badly of her and our relationship and that you Axel do not mean your apology," Owen said. "She isnt ready for you to move in, but she did agree you can have rooms incase you need to stay for some reason and she trusts you not to reveal the location of the house so I would take that as progress in earning her trust back."

"HELP!!!!"

Everyone took off upstairs with Luke being the first to push the door open being the fastest out of both groups to see a man dressed in all black with a mask on struggling with her on the ground. Luke tackled the man and Raven punched in him the face knocking him out. Silas and Raven took him outside while North helped Marie out from under the bed where she rolled once Luke tackled the guy.

Once she was standing, she slapped North in the face, "you left me alone!" She burst into tears and she slapped him again, "you left me all alone!"

"Im sorry Darling we just wanted a meeting with the Toma team," Owen said coming over to them.

"You left me alone Owen!" She slapped him and took a step back when he tried to step toward her again. "You promised you wouldnt, and you did! You broke your promise!"

"Were sorry," North said trying to calm her down.

"You broke your promise North," She cried and took a step back again.

"Its my fault," Axel said, "I wanted to know if you had decided on us moving in. They wanted to wait until you woke up, but I insisted."

"Dont try to defend them, they still broke their promise," Marie shook her head trying to calm down. "I cant stay here." She barely whispered, "Im not safe here."

"Do you want me to take you to the house?" Owen asked and she shook her head.

"No, Im going ghost," She said shaking her head.
