Starting Over

Chapter 4

"What have you been able to find out?" Owen asked as they watched their one lay perfectly still in her bed. They couldn't believe they finally found her and even though they were upset with how they found her they were glad they had her back home where she belonged.

"She has been there since she left," Kota whispered. "Every three months she renews the lease but she changes her last name to one of ours. I haven't been able to figure out the arrangement with the landlord yet but there is some arrangement to where the lease stays the same but the last name changes every 3 months. She was due to change it to Green next month according to the pattern."

"What about the attack?" Nathan asked.

"We taught her well, I was correct about the hidden cameras being where Kota thought they were," Victor said trying to hold back tears. "This guy had a key to the apartment but going back through the footage I don't think Princess knew about it, she never had anyone over and I mean anyone since she moved in. I think this guy somehow stalked her and made a key without her knowledge. She fought back well, you can see how well she fought, I sent everyone a copy."

Owen turned on the TV and they watch as Marie is in the kitchen looking through then shutting it without grabbing anything. Going into the living room she sits on the couch and starts reading. Getting so lost in the book she never hears someone come up behind her. They touch her head and she stands up swinging a fist hitting them in the face. He grabs her hair and pulls her to him. She elbows him and kicks back hitting his shin before shoving her elbow back into his face connecting with his nose. He lets go of her and she tries to take off but he trips her so she kicks him in the face but he somehow manages to pin her down. They watch her use moves Nathan, Silas, and North all taught her to fight back and leave marks on him including biting him multiple times drawing blood. They watch as he manages to start chocking her and try as she might she cant get his hands off her. She passes out and he picks her up bridal style and carries her into her room. He gently pushes her hair out of her face and starts to undress her. She starts to wake and fight against him again but he tied her hands and feet to the bed before she woke up. He pulls out a knife and begins giving her small cuts while raping her. They hear her begging him to stop and him tell her that shes his and just needs to stop fighting it. They hear him tell her how she has been his since she saw him five years ago when she moved in and she kept telling him she didnt know who he was. He told her over and over how she was his and she kept telling him that she wasnt that her heart belonged to others not him and once they found out they were going to kill him. He asked where they were if she was with them and why havent they been over once in the five years shes lived there and she gasped. She told him it wasnt any of his business but her ring was on her necklace proving she belonged to them and he was going to regret touching her when they found out. He just laughed and tried to kiss her which she turned her head so he slapped her and forced her to kiss him which resulted in her biting his tongue. He ended up punching her unconscious and when he was done he told her she was his sure now. He put the knife away, untied her, and walked out the door. About 30 minutes later she woke up and screamed. She tried to move and they could tell she almost threw up from the pain. She opened her nightstand and pulled out a bottle of pills. They watched her cry how she messed up and was no longer theirs then swallow what was in her hand. She opened her knife and they watched her turn it over and over for a long time before pressing it to her wrists while crying sorry. She took more pills then they could tell the moment she regretted it and grabbed her phone and call North.

"She never removed our apps, but she looked at them constantly," Victor said.

"We taught her well," Nathan said. "She did everything right."

"Now we just need her to wake up," Silas mumbled.
