It's been five years now and there was still no baby. After some test Sean determined that she had endometriosis so it made getting pregnant very difficult. It was hard for her to accept but they supported her through the pain and heartache and reminded her that there were other ways to have a baby if she really wanted. She decided that she was just going to focus on her artwork and photography for now since she had the free time and if she had a baby she may not have to time to. They understood and supported her even if they were a little bit disappointed that she didn't want to try the other ways to get pregnant right off the bat. Kota pointed out that this gave them the time to travel and do other things that might be a little problematic if they had kids and she didn't say she didn't want children but she wanted to focus on her passions that she may have to put on the back burner once they did have children. This helped in supporting her even more.

She had grown so much in the past five years. Her old landlord was killed in prison which gave her a huge sense of relief since he was due for a chance of parole and she was finally okay with not having them around her all the time. There were even some days when she was okay with being home alone but she always made sure to have her phone right beside her when it happened and it also gave her a sense of security that there were multiple cameras in each room, that the whole team had access to if they need to check on her or anyone else. She still wasn't comfortable with driving so she always relied on someone to take her places but they never seemed to mind as it gave them a sense of protection in knowing she was okay with them.

This particular day she was in the art studio painting and listening to music while Owen was in his study doing some paperwork. Her phone rang so she put her brush down and smiled seeing it was Sean.

"Hello my favorite doctor," she beamed.

"Hello my favorite Pookie," he smiled and she burst out laughing.

"I am your only Pookie," she said once she calmed down.

"Which makes you my favorite Pookie," he explained.

"Are you on a break?" She asked as she put her brush in the cleaner and went to sit in the bay window.

"Actually, I was calling to see if you are busy, I kind of need your help with something," he said as he sat at his desk and sighed.

"I was actually just taking a break from painting. What's up?" she asked as she headed to Owen's study. He pushed his chair back and she got in his lap then laid her head down on his chest while he wrapped one arm around her.

"We have newborn twins here that just lost their mother and we need someone to do skin to skin with them. The ladies that normally come can't and all the nurses are busy," he explained and her breath caught for a moment. "I know you aren't that comfortable doing it but I could really use your help right now. Skin to skin is very important since they are premature babies."

"Okay Dr. Sean, I'll be there in a bit," She nodded and he beamed.
"Thank you so much Pookie," Sean sighed in relief. "I really appreciate it, this will help them so much. I will see you soon. I love you Pookie."

"I love you too Dr. Sean," She whispered then hung up. She turned and hugged Owen tightly.

He just held her until she decided to let go. "Sean will be with you and so will I," Owen whispered as he rubbed her back. "Try and not think of the hurt, try and just focus on those babies that just lost their mother and need comfort, okay?"

"Okay," she whispered and hugged him tighter for a moment then let go,
"Go get cleaned up Darling," Owen commanded.

"Yes Sir," She said and he gave her that special smile just for her before she took off upstairs.

He placed a quick call to Sean, "Do you think this is a good idea?"

"Honestly I am not sure," Sean sighed, "I know she will be thinking of the fact she can't have children but we don't have anyone here to do skin to skin and I knew she might be available. This may actually help her Owen. It's not like I'm hoping she will bond with them and want to bring them home."

"Don't lie to me Sean," Owen rolled his eyes.

"Okay yes I am hoping a little bit but I'm also being professional and trying to help these premature babies thrive and survive," Sean sighed knowing he was busted.

Owen heard her coming towards the stairs so he growled, "Don't hold your breath but we will see," then hung up on him moments before she entered the study. "Are you ready to go Darling?"

"Honestly no but I know they need me so I will try," she sighed and he kissed her softly.

"No matter what happens, just know you are helping these babies and that is all he is asking of you."

She nodded and he took her head then headed out to the hospital.
