Chapter 25

The man backed up and the nurse shoved him to Raven and North. North grabbed him and the man swung at North.

"Thats enough Mr. Gates," Owen said coming up behind North and Raven.

"No, she is mine!" he shouted as he tried to break away from North.

"No, she isnt," Owen said with so much ice in his voice that even North and Raven flinched a little.

"Move now!" Sean shouted as he shoved past them and landed beside the nurse. "Shit!" he mumbled as he picked up Marie and placed her on the bed. "ICU NOW!" he shouted at the nurse.

"Whats going on?" Owen asked.

"She has sepsis from this fucker not getting her medical attention immediately. She can very easily die Owen," he growled. "Sepsis is touch and go at all times and by the looks of it, she has been this way for almost a day already. Her fever is severe, I wouldnt be surprised if it causes a seizure at this point." He started to push the bed towards the door. "If she dies because of you" He said glaring at Mr. Gates. (Let me say I know NOTHING about sepsis other than what I have read from other books so Im sorry if I put information wrong, Im just going with what is in my head and talk of sepsis being life threatening.)

"Go Dr. Green, we will handle this," Owen nodded, and Sean rushed her out the door with the help of the nurse and two others rushing to them.

"Whats going on?" Luke asked watching Sean and a nurse rush Marie down the hall.

"Baby has sepsis and Doc isnt sure she will make it because of how severe it is due to this fucker not getting her help," North glared squeezing his grip as he spoke.

Luke threw his fist back and swung it directly into his face.

"If I cant have her no one will," he groaned as he doubled over.

"She will be fine, and she is ours," Silas said walking into the room. "Doc will fix her up and she will go back home with us. She will get the best help she needs, and once she is better you will get the justice you deserve."

"You will have to live with the fact that I got what you treasure first," he laughed and Raven began choking him.

"Stop Raven," Axel said trying to pull him off the man before he killed him.

"Thats where youre wrong," North said with almost as much ice as Owen. Everyone grew quiet and looked at him.

"She was a virgin, and I took that from you. It felt so good breaking her hymen as I entered her and she screamed in pleasure," the man smirked.

"No, she wasnt," North shook his head and the man glared at him.

"Yes, she was," The man growled and North shook his head.

"No," North said as three police officers entered the room.

"Youre under arrest Mr. Gates for kidnapping, rape, attempted murder, and a whole list of other offenses," the police office said as he put handcuffs on him. He tried to resist but the other two just picked him up and carried him out like a surfboard under their arms.

"Those were members of my team, the Academy will handle him," the nurse that called Owen said as she entered the room. "Dr. Green has wanted me to let you know that she is in surgery at the moment to try and remove as much infection as possible that has infected some tissues and he is assisting so once he has a moment, he will let me know and I can let you know but it may be a few hours. I am also speaking with some upper management, and she will be put in a room that will be large enough for all of you to stay the night because I know you will not want to leave her sight which you are able to see her."

"Thank you so fucking much," Gabe said trying not to burst into tears.

"You are welcome, I am going to head back into the surgery now," she nodded.

"Wait," Marc said stopping her, "Your name?"

"Alexis Jones," she smiled softly.

"Thank you, Miss Jones," Owen nodded. She left and everyone turned back to North. "Explain," Owen said staring at him and North nodded.

"Marie Baby left because of me," North sighed softly. "The night before she left, I had come in from an assignment and she was laying on the couch all curled up like she always was watching one of her Tim Burton films. I took a quick shower then sat beside her. She beamed and curled up in my lap. I kissed her and I know we were supposed to be going slow since we didnt want to confuse her or scare her, but I just couldnt help it, she felt so perfect in my lap. Anyway, the kissing turned into French kissing and then one thing led to another, and I started fingering her. I kept asking her if she wanted to stop but she just kept moaning and whimpering those cute little whimpers she does. Anyway, she kept grinding against me and I ended up breaking her hymen with my fingers and after she had an orgasm, I reassured her that she was a good girl, and it was okay because she was so scared of what her body had done and that we had done something wrong, and it would cause a fight between us. I kept telling her that it was okay until she fell asleep, but I guess she didnt believe me and left during the night. Im sorry, its my fault she left. If I could have controlled myself better she wouldnt have left."

"You did nothing wrong Mr. Taylor," Owen shook his head. "We all could barely control ourselves around our Darling. We should have communicated better back then and made sure she understood our wants and feelings."

"We just missed so much time," North shook his head.

"But we have her back and right now she needs us," Sean said from the door.

"How long have you been there?" Brandon asked.

"Since North said Pookie left because of him. Its not true North so stop thinking that way. Anyway, I came to tell you that she has been moved to a guarded ICU private room and right now she is sleeping. We gave her a sedative to sleep through the night to help her body fight the sepsis. She will be on some very strong antibiotics and there may be some side effects of the sepsis, some things she may go through while we are treating her."

"Like what?" Kota asked.

"Mood swings, hallucinating, sudden drop in blood pressure, chills while she is burning up from her fever, we will be keeping a close eye on her and the hospital staff already knows we are the only ones allowed to see her outside of doctors and nurses. We already know she has a weak immune system so there is really no telling how she will react to the strong antibiotics and treatments. I need everyone to communicate on everything she does or seems off to you even in the slightest, understood?" Sean asked and everyone nodded.

"This very serious?" Raven asked and Sean nodded.

"There is a high chance she could die since she didnt get immediate treatment from her gun shot wound and it got to this point. Usually the first 48 hours are the best chance of treating it and since its been past 72, it is really touch and go at this point," Sean said sighing. "Im heading back in there now, I will come get you when you are able to come in and see her."

"Thanks Doc," everyone said as he left. They headed down the hall and sat down it the waiting room lost in their thoughts on what has happened in the past few days.
