"You look absolutely breathtaking my dear," Erica said as she helped Marie slip on her dress. "Those boys aren't going to know what to do with themselves."
"Thank you Momma," Marie whispered as Erica fastened the necklace on for her.
"Are you ready?" Erica asked and Marie nodded. "I'll stay right by your side my dear." Marie looked at her thankfully and Erica patted her hand. Max walked up next to her and she smiled down at him.
"Go Max," Erica commanded and Max picked up the pillow with two small boxes and a medium size box then went to wait by the door. Erica brief opened the door and Max slipped out. Marie could hear people chuckling and talk about Max. She could even hear the guys questioning about the boxes.
She smiled softly and Jessica came up to her. She handed her the rainbow roses and Marie hugged her, "thank you for being my maid of honor," Marie said and Jessica hugged her tightly.
Jessica slipped out the door and then Erica and Marie went to the door. The moment that Victor's piano playing and Owen's violin music combined Erica and Marie stepped out the door. Erica tightened her grip on Marie's hand and smiled, "Let's go Dear," Erica whispered and they began to walk toward Owen and the rest of the group.
Marie smiled when she heard the men gasp at her dress. She knew the moment they spotted the things she had altered and added to represent every one of them even if legally she was only marrying Owen, in her heart she was marrying all fourteen of them. The ribbon had all their favorite colors in a gradient fashion and the gems on her necklace, bracelet, and headpiece were their favorite colors. She was amazed at the fairy tale outdoors theme that including woods and water. He never ceased to amaze her. She truly felt like the princess Victor always called her. She reached Owen and the men and kissed Erica on the cheek. She grabbed Owen's hand and he gave her that special smile just for her.
When it came to put the rings on, Max went over to Owen and he grabbed one of the boxes. He opened it and Marie gasped, inside was a breathtaking ring. The center was a heart and inside the heart cage were fourteen gems, each one of the men's favorite colors. He slid it onto her finger then kissed her hand. She grabbed the other smaller box and opened it, inside was a grey ring with fifteen gems across the middle, each one representing each one of the men and Marie's favorite color. She slid it onto Owen's finger and kissed him softly. She then bent down and picked up the last remaining box and opened it, inside were thirteen more identical rings. She slid them onto the rest of the team and kissed them softly.
"I know pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Owen Blackbourne and the bird of the Blackbourne Toma team," Dr. Roberts said and everyone cheered.
"This is fucking perfect Trouble," Gabriel smiled as they danced. "I couldn't have done better myself."
"Thank you Meanie," She smiled and kissed him softly. "I was really torn about giving the rings now or waiting until the polyandry ceremony but I just couldn't wait any longer."
"I'm glad you didn't fucking wait," Gabriel smirked."Me as well," Owen said as he came over to them. "It's time to cut the cake Darling."
She nodded and kissed Gabriel one more time then giggled as Gabe spun her into Owen's arms. She kissed him softly then headed over to the cake with Owen. The men burst out laughing when she took the chance and smashed it into his mouth and smeared it on his face. She knew he would punish her later for it and honestly she couldn't wait. Luke snuck up behind her and smeared some icing into her hair and she burst out laughing again. It was just a perfect time and she couldn't believe it was happening to her.
After everyone left, North grabbed her and pulled her inside to head to the bathroom to get cleaned up. Everyone followed behind. Gabriel stared working on undoing her headpiece.
"You don't have to wear the ring if you don't want to North," She said softly as she watched him closely.
"What are you talking about Baby?" North asked confused, "I love the ring."
"Well, I know you aren't that big on jewelry," She shrugged, "Plus I know you don't really like rings because of all the construction tools you use, you've said more than once that rings can be dangerous while you work. So, I'm just saying you don't have to wear it if you don't want to, it won't hurt my feelings if you don't. I got you one because you are my husband, but I also knew full and well that you may not wear it and I just want you to know that it is okay if you don't."
"Oh Baby," North sighed and pulled her to him. "Thank you but I am going to wear it. You gave it to me and that means everything. Gabriel has already said that he will get me a chain necklace that I can wear under my shirt and wont slip out that I can put the ring on when I have to use those tools that way I can still have it on me. But it means the world to me that you thought about that when you created the rings and that you would be understanding if I didn't wear it but I am going to because it came from you, our lovely caring wife."
She leaned up and kissed him softly. "Now I think our wife needs to get cleaned up so we can show her just how much we appreciate our surprises," Owen said as he began undoing her dress.
"Yes Sir," She gasped as he ever so slowly slid the dress down. The rest of the night was forever engrained in her mind.
