Chapter 49

North carried Marie in Gabe came rushing down the stairs. "Fuck yes! Come look at my fucking magic!" he beamed as North placed her on her feet. Gabe grabbed her hands and pulled her upstairs. "I am a goddamn magician. You are going to fucking love it Trouble, I just know it!"

"I bet I will," She laughed and North smirked.

"She hasn't been this happy in a while," he said to the rest of the team.

"Not since the miscarriage," Luke said throwing the empty water bottle away. "This is what we all need."

"What has he done?" North asked hearing her squeal in happiness.

"Work a goddamn miracle, that's what," Luke laughed as North and Sean went upstairs.

"The media room has been moved so the girls have the largest room besides our shared room of course," Silas said wiping his forehead.
North and Sean stood in the open doorway and smiled. There in front of them was a princess fairy tale landscape on the walls and two princess carriage cribs with changing tables attached. There was also a royal couch covered in stuff animals up against a wall. There were lights across the ceiling so it was still dimly light at night to give a fairy glow to the room. Marie was just beaming as she walked around the room. She couldn't believe they had managed to pull that much together in such a short amount of time but at the same time she knew Gabe would find a way to amaze her beyond her dreams.

"Oh Meanie," She gasped as she turned and jumped into his open arms. She peppered his face with kisses and he happily accepted them. "Now we just have to get bottles, diapers, pacifiers, formula, clothes, and I'm sure a million other things. Oh and come up with names as well."

"I got everything arriving in the next few days," Victor smiled as she jumped into his arms and covered him in kisses as well. She made sure everyone got kisses and knew how happy and excited she was.

"I have thought of a couple of names but I want your input as well," she said softly.

"What are they?" Owen asked.

"Nova Fae and Salem Rain Blackbourne," She said softly and they tried it out.

"I fucking love it!" Gabriel beamed, "Now I know what to get embroidered on their blankets! Fucking genius Trouble."

"We love them," Owen nodded as he pulled her into a hug.

"I will let Mom and Jess know," Kota said as he pulled out his phone.

"Max is curious," Brandon said as Max walked around the room smelling. "He's going to love having them home as well. You know how much he loves babies."

"When can they come home Sean?" Victor asked.

"Probably next month," Sean said yawning. "If they keep improving like they are thanks to Pookie, they will definitely be able to come home next month. We still have to go through the adoption process though and that can take some time."

"I have already called the lawyers and they have already started the process for us," Owen said. "With no biological parents and no other family members that they have found, they don't think it won't be a complicated process. The girls should be ours around the time they are able to come home."

"We still need to safety proof the rest of the house," Marie yawned and stretched.

"We will do that tomorrow, let's head to bed," Kota said as he pulled her to her room with Victor in tow.

The next few days and weeks were spent getting everything ready for the upcoming arrival of the girls plus going back and forth to the hospital to bond with them as well. They were gaining weight and the jaundice that they had was slowly disappearing. They were thriving much to the happiness of Marie and the team. The guys were so happy to see Marie excited and happy. They knew it would be hard on her once the girls came home but they were already figuring out a schedule to help her with them so she didn't exhaust herself caring for them.

The team and Marie went to court a few days before they were allowing Nova and Salem to come home. There adoption was approved and they went out to celebrate. Marie was able to find the perfect coming home outfits and Gabe assured her he would be picture boxes to put the outfits and bracelets and details in after they got home. The outfits were pink and gold and the onesies said Daddies' Girl & Mommy's World. She knew the moment she saw them that it was exactly what she wanted for them. Now she just had to be patient for their girls to come home and their family would be complete.
