The first few years were hard on the family as they learned how to adjust to being parents but they always made sure to all be together for birthdays and doctor appointments (which Dr. Roberts was their doctor so Sean could be in father mode and not doctor mode) and anything that was important. They also made sure to keep having single and double and group and whole dates which was no problem for Erica and Jessica, they loved caring for the girls.
Shortly after Nova and Salem turned seven there were newborn twin boys that were abandoned at the hospital. Raven took her up to the hospital and laughed when she called Gabe and told him in her Mommy tone that he had to get out of bed immediately and go shopping. He asked what for and she said that her and Raven were coming home with twin boys. He didn't even ask any more questions and went to wake up Owen and Victor. Owen asked what was going on so Marie sent a picture of the boys and he just said okay. They learned over the years when it came to the girls to not ask questions and he knew this was another instance to not question. He simply asked what their names were and after a few moments of silence she said Kalon Vesper Blackbourne and Draven Reign Blackbourne. A few moments later there was a group message sent out so the rest of the team knew what was going on.
There were no other children added to the family but they were okay with the four they have. Marie continued to paint and photography but her new passion was photographing her four children and just spending time with them. She was so glad she made that call to North on that terrible night all those years ago and love gave her a chance to start over.
