Hi. I am still alive. But have no clue what to write. Uh... I have no words. Sorry. This is just gonna be a filler chapter, so any recommendations for what to write, just till I can write about the dance, would be great.
KARL POV:
I chuckle to myself as the four of us creep along the side of the house. Years ago, we had found an easy way to climb up to Sapnap's bedroom, and right now, we are all headed there. Ahead of me, Quackity stumbles and falls. We all burst out with laughter before quieting ourselves instantly. Quackity mumbles something under his breath and walks next to me. I smirk at him. He whacks me on the arm and I have to stop my self from laughing again. We all come to a stop at the foot of Sapnap's window. Dream chucks a stone at it, then another. George rolls his eyes, and starts climbing up the side of the house, using the pipes and vines to guide his way. About half way up, he reaches the tree branches from next door, and hops on to one of them.
"Get up here," he hisses. Quackity and I start scaling the wall, but Dream chucks one more stone at the window. Soon, we start pulling ourselves up using the tree, and start balancing aross to the window. I rap on it and see movement. After another knock, the window flies up and Sapnap is stood there.
"What," he says, agitated.
Dream ignores him and crawls through the window. Sapnap frowns, and Dream laughs from where he is splayed on the floor. The rest of us clamber in and Sapnap shuts the window.
"Hello. What are you doing in my house at 3 am?" He asks, clearly still half asleep.
"Adventure?" I say with weak jazz hands.
Sapnap groans. "My mom is going to kill me. This is another reason to add to her ever-growing list,"
He makes his voice high and squeaky, "You let your friends come into MY house at 3 in the morning, and make a racket,"We laugh quietly, and he flops onto his bed. George and Dream sit cross-legged at the end of his bed, and me and Quackity sit next to him.
"Thanksgiving will be great this year," He says sarcastically. He starts speaking in the same high voice. "Oh, did I tell you? Yes, apparently, this young man's found his soulmate. S. Yeah, and according to him, they're male. Ooh la di di," He finishes sourly.
"Come to ours," I offer. "Or, we could all just skive and meet up at Sally's. Or the park,"
And just like that, conversations fly around, until I check my watch. I feel my eyes widen in suprise.
"It's 5 already?" I say in shock. Dream curses, and we all run out the window. When the four of us are back on solid ground, I wave back up to Sapnap, who is looking down.
"See ya tomorrow," he says, shutting the window. We all rush our own ways, the late summer sun beginning to rise.
~~timeskip~~
I drag myself downstairs at 7:30.
"And where were you last night?" Ma asks. I freeze. Shit.
"Oh, uh, uh," I say, fumbling for an excuse.
"Where were you?" Mom reiterates.
"Sapnap's," I admit meekly.
They laugh. "And the other 3 were there too? You all decided to sneak out?" Ma asks.
I nod, the exhaustion from last night kicking in.
Sneaking out is tiring.
